Terra Bella June 2018 Review
The box includes a card that lists all of the products inside.
Brooklyn Made Natural Sunscreen, 4 oz. - Retail Value $10.00
I've always wondered about natural alternatives to traditional drugstore sunscreens! I'm excited to see how well this creamy, essential-oil-filled version works. I have pretty pale skin, so I don't like to risk it with just any product. But I've been wearing this around when I'm popping out for a walk or errands, and no burns quite yet. The active ingredient is zinc oxide, but I couldn't find much info about what level of SPF this provides. The cream sure does smell amazing, though! Super herby and pretty.
Bug Soother, 2 oz. - Retail Value $3.95
Bring me all the natural bug repellant you can muster! I'm in no mood to be bitten up while I'm trying to enjoy a nice day out in the sunshine. This repellant is deet-free and safe for kids and pets. It contains lemongrass oil, vanilla, and lemon to make it both effective and easy on the nose, too!
Live Beautifully Feel Better Butter for Scrapes and Burns, 0.15 oz. - Listed Value $4.00, Buy 1.5 oz. for $15.00 here
This little pot contains a lovely-smelling blend of shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, aloe powder, vitamin e, manuka honey, and a myriad of essential oils to help calm uncomfortable skin. I popped a bit on a recuperating sunburn, and I liked how nourished the various butters in this blend helped my skin feel. It's also just nice to use as a hand cream.
Old Thyme Soaps Peppermint Foot Scrub, 4 oz. - Retail Value $6.95
This bar is awfully cute. The gray side of the foot contains ground up pumice to help slough off dry, calloused skin, while the other side features a goats' milk soap. The pepperminty smell is a refreshing, soothing, and a little sweet. It felt awfully good massaging my feet with this bar after a week spent in and out of sandals!
Little Seed Farm Elasticity Serum, 1 oz. - Retail Value $18.00
I'm only 30, but already I'm starting to see the value of skin-nourishing, elasticity-saving products like this one. This serum uses botanicals like hazelnut oil to keep skin looking perky and refreshed. I've been pleased with how nicely it nourishes freshly exfoliated facial skin, but it's also supposed to be effective in helping prevent/clear stretch marks!
Verdict: I really liked this assortment of summer-ready products! I found them all to be immediately effective in making my skin feel nourished (or for keeping bugs at bay), and I'm eager to see the effects of repeat use for things like the skin soothing balm and the elasticity serum.
