Rocksbox is a designer jewelry styling and renting service. Members pay a flat rate every month to get unlimited access to the Rocksbox collection and the option to buy the pieces they love most at a discounted price.
Upon subscribing, you'll take a "style survey," so Rocksbox can suggest jewelry pieces that fit your style. You can also browse their catalog and add pieces to your wish list. Each month, Rocksbox will curate sets of three pieces to send your way, including at least one piece from your wishlist. I've been leaving my list empty so that Rocksbox can do all the picking for me.
Try on the items in the box, and wear them as long as you'd like. From there, you have two choices. If you love any of the pieces enough to want to keep them, you can put your monthly "Shine Credit" towards your purchase.
Or, if you're ready for another style, return your box using the free shipping label and reusable envelope you got with your shipment. Shortly after, you'll get a brand new box of jewelry to enjoy!
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Rocksbox July 2018 Review
Bonus: Maybelline Master Prime, 0.5 fl. oz. - Buy 1 oz. for $7.89 here
I got a bonus primer in my package! Nice! The package is light blue, but the formula is a white cream that fades into the skin, leaving behind a soft, transparent finish.
Here's the booklet that came with the box. It lists all of the jewelry inside and features a note from the person who curated the box. If there's anything I don't love, there's a page in my Rocksbox account that lets me leave feedback on the items, so that the stylist can choose more accurately next time. Also, you can preview your box each month before it's shipped and replace any so-so pieces with something else that you like a little better.
Each piece of jewelry comes in a velvet storage bag like this one.
Sophie Harper Pave Moon and Star Charm Necklace in Silver and Crystal - Retail Value $65.00, Member Price $55.00
This item is a "Granted Wish", meaning it's a piece that I added to my Rocksbox wishlist. When you have items in your wishlist, your Rocksbox stylist will try to include at least one of them in your next box! I love celestial shapes, and I love the understated vibe of this silver pendant. The chain measures about and has a bright silvery sheen to it.
Ava Rose Chelsea Drop Earrings in Silver - Retail Value $60.00, Member Price $51.00
These dangling earrings have a medieval style to them, don't you think? I like the shield shape and the gunmetal hue of this pair. They're about 2" long each and have a lot of unexpected sparkle to them. Because they're hollow, they're also very light. In other words, they make a big statement without weighing my earlobes down/being too uncomfortable after awhile.
Ava Rose Charlotte Studs in Platinum and Silver Druzy - Retail Value $45.00, Member Price $38.00
These studs are the kind of thing I'd wear every day to give an ordinary outfit a little sparkle. The druzy studs mirror the same gunmetal color that appeared on the other pieces in this box. There's something a little edgy about this shimmery pair, even though they're super simple.
The Verdict: I totally recommend using your wishlist to guide your stylist towards pieces you like. There's still no guarantee WHICH wishlist item you'll receive in your order, but you'll still know to expect something you like! I found it thoughtful how everything in this month's box featured the same color palette, too. It makes it easy to mix and match pieces. Everything arrived in great condition, and the service itself is super convenient—the return process is really easy, and it's never too long before my new set arrives in the mail!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Every box is different and packed based on the customer's tastes and what's available at the time. You can, however, give the Rocksbox stylists a nudge by adding your favorite pieces to your wishlist!
