Ok girls, I’m still new to Play! By Sephora and I just read about how to find my Sephora Box#. It says it is the last 3 digits of my item #. If this is true my last 3 digits are “152”. Does anyone know which Box samples will be in “152”???

Same for Box #511. I don’t understand why they promote a “Sneak Preview” and say we’ll get one of the four products mentioned above and not even get it at all. Is this a joke?

The same thing happened to me a couple months back for their 2 year anniversary. There was supposed to be the Becca, Porefessional, or one other product (I can’t recall) in the box. I didn’t get any of the products listed so I chatted with them. The person I chatted with was rude and told me that I shouldn’t follow any spoilers unless they came directly from Sephora….. I got some mumbo jumbo about getting a different version of the box as an explanation. Looks like the same thing is happening again…. I finally cancelled. I have 152 and if the box is really what others are saying, I’ll be really letdown.

FYI – I believe that is incorrect information. It doesn’t include any of the products Sephora said would be in all boxes.

can’t be it … I think that is an old one, the spoiler says everyone will get a tarte blush and you got none of the spoilers listed. This is a box from end of 2017. you had me excited :/

I guess that sephora is coming our with a new subscription, Sephora Luxe. The bag itself looks better than the drawstring bags. What I want to know is, now that their coming out with the new sub, is Play! going to take a nosedive? Because the new sub is supposed to have six luxury trial size (better not be foil samples) items “collectable cards” and 50 points for $25. This doesn’t look good for the quality of Play! items in the future.

Are you sure you’re not mixing this info up with Boxycharm?

Or maybe the person is who gave out this info is mixing them up.

It’s hard to keep track with so many sub boxes sometimes. Boxycharm is coming out in
Sept. with it’s first Boxycharm Luxe box. It will be offered as an upgrade to our current
Boxycharm boxes 4 times a year. No info yet on how much it will cost to be upgraded.

Boxycharm is $21 a month for Full size products, not samples. I’ve always gotten 5 products in my boxes and on occasion, 6. So I can’t imagine anyone will want to pay $25 for 6 deluxe Samples. It will be interesting to see if this really is going to happen. It’s a
big jump in cost from $10 a month to $25 a month just to get a little bit bigger samples!

Where did you hear this? I’m curious I know they do limited edition bags but I never heard of them upgrading overall. $25 seems pretty steep for sample sizes. The payoff would have to most definitely be worth it.

I don’t know of its going to be a monthly sub or a one time thing like the glitter thing they did. If you go to the Sephora community and search conversations for luxe someone posted a link there. $25+ tax for samples is high they should put a full size item or brush in there for that price.

FYI for anyone who is thinking about it- I resubscribed (early AM) on the 1st after seeing the last spoilers, and was told by two different employees that my first box will most likely be August. They told me my best bet was to try and buy a singular left over box after the shipments go out at the end of the month. I’m only mentioning it bc the MSA posts have said that if you sign up now, July will be your first box 😉

Yup I got my email response and they said that during any month you must sign up before the billing cycle (which is between the 1st and 4th) to receive that months box.

We have info directly from Play! by Sephora that if you sign up before the 10th you’ll get the July box, but I am reaching out to double check.

Thank you!! I signed up on June 27th, I am hoping that I was early enough to get the July box. It seems like there has been a lot of misinformation on here lately 🙁 I haven’t been coming on MSA long, (maybe 6 months or so) So i am not sure how common that is. But after the June Allure ELL fiasco and a few others, I will be seriously disappointed if i was steered wrong again 🙁

FYI – Allure told us that anyone who signed up for the Kat Von D lipstick when we posted about it should have received it, and that it was a mistake on their part. If that happened to you, please contact Allure Beauty Box customer care so they can fix it. Sorry!

No problem 🙂 Just wanted everyone to have a heads up. Most of the info I’ve encountered on this site has been correct (or quickly corrected), but who knows. I’ve had trouble getting accurate info from Sephora in the past about both Play and regular orders, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a miscommunication. Based on my experience, however, calling them for info about orders has been more reliable if you’re uncertain- even if you don’t have the record of it. Most email responses I have gotten have been generic, and not very helpful. Here’s hoping there’s still a chance for us to get July boxes 🤞

I get three boxes and usually they are all three different but the last two months two of mine have become duplicates. I am getting two 152 boxes and one is 202. Think I’ll tweak some of my settings in one of my 152 accounts, lol

I did once sign up for to boxes with different profiles and I cancelled one because of getting the same box. Also my daughter signed up which obviously a age difference and profile and she’s gotten the same box. Wish they had reviews to help better your box selection

I just resubbed too, after about a 3 month break. I am also getting the same box. Makes me think they go more by sign up time and less by profile. Which we all know profile never really mattered.

Yay thanks for the spoiler! I keep obsessively checking on here for more because apparently Sephora is no longer “able” to give out the details of contents inside the boxes? I emailed and this was the second month in a row I was told that they couldn’t inform me what was in my box, and I’ve seen a lot of people talking on the Sephora forums this time around about how CS can now longer give out the box info – any confirmation or info on this?
