Panda Pals July 2018 Review

Panda Pals July 2018 - soctivity Panda Pals July 2018 - soctivity back

This month’s Socktivity page features Clancy a grey striped tiger! The page teaches more about tiger stripes and how they are much like our own fingerprints. There are even some fun vocabulary words, like unique, that are a great way to describe tiger stripes and fingerprints. The back features this month’s activity, which is a way to discover more about your very own fingerprint.

I also received this ink pad to use on the soctivity page. All you do is press your finger to it and place your print on the paper to see what lines your fingerprint makes! Then, it also came with this cute tiger stripe paper to show you up close more about what makes a tiger’s stripes so unique, just like our individual fingerprints. You could also use the back of this paper to make more fingerprints with your ink pad!

Our first sock of the month features Clancy the tiger. The sides even have little ears that will stick out a bit more once they are on. I absolutely love how fun these socks are! My son loved learning about Clancy and her stripes and was so excited to see her again on this pair of socks. While these don’t fit him just yet, they will in a few months when the weather turns colder, so I can already tell he is going to be so excited when he gets to wear them!

Our second and final pair of socks doesn’t seem to have a theme to them, just a retro-inspired print to them. I do wish these were a bit bolder and exciting or at least had a different color to them from the first pair. All in all, it is always great to receive new socks even if they aren’t the most exciting.

Verdict: Panda Pals is a great way to make socks fun by attaching them to a theme and activity each month! This month we learned all about our fingerprints and how they are much like a tiger’s stripes. Clancy was the featured animal of the month, and we even got to see her again on probably the cutest pair of socks I have ever seen! While I don’t love the second pair of socks, they are still great quality and will keep my son comfortable and warm once the cold weather comes in a few months.
