Gaia Collective MoonBox "Nourish" Review July 2018
This little card introduces the concept behind the box.
This next card introduces the lunar phases for July as well as the "intention" for the month, which is "Nourish".
Cosmic Collage Moon Calendar
Each box comes with a colorful woven mat that acts as a lunar and astrological calendar for the month. This one has a giant crab in the center signifying Cancer season.
The box also came with a bag of three crystals.
Let's check each of these stones out! They range from about 1-2 inches long.
Blue Apatite
This stone has such an incredible blue-green color. It looks like it should be a crayon color. The card says this stone is for promoting truth and cleansing and should be placed on the throat.
Lepidolite
This stone looks almost like a salt-crusted amethyst, haha! The info card says it can be placed on the third eye to promote stress release.
Green Aventurine
This final stone is smooth and soft sea foam green. According to the card, you can place this on your heart to inspire personal journaling.
M+A Naturals Hi(m+a)layan Lip Scrub in Rose, 1.2 oz. - Retail Value $10.00
This rich scrub contains brown sugar and cane sugar to gently exfoliate your lips. It has a rose fragrance that's so rich it's almost fruity. What I like about this scrub is that it also left a pinkish tint on my lips!
JOCO Botanicals Throat Yogi Soap, 4.15 oz. - Retail Value $7.97
This coconut and shea butter soap is blended with lemongrass, tea tree, eucalyptus, and sage, which smells citrusy fresh. The soap itself is creamy and comfy on the skin. Better yet, it includes aquamarine, sapphire, and quartz charged spring water, which aims to promote your throat chakra's powers.
REE-Defined Rare Earth Elements Drawer Pull
I tried to find this product online, but it looks like their website hasn't yet been launched. This bright pink drawer pull comes with the screw needed to fasten it to a nightstand or closet door. It's about 3 inches wide, so it's big enough to get a solid grip on. I think this is a clever idea for a subscription box item, though I wish it was part of a set! I don't have too many pieces of furniture that use just one pull. (Usually, it's at least 2 or 3.)
Practically Magic Co Cancer Greeting Cards, Set of 3 - Buy 10 for $18.00 here
I have a few friends with summer birthdays, but most of them are Leos! That's a little late for these Cancer cards, unfortunately, though I do like the simple design of these blank-inside notes. I feel like these are the kind of cards that the recipient could frame and keep around as art rather than pitch or relegate to a drawer. I just wish there were a few more signs included in the set!
Aquamarine from Nature's Treasures
There's one last crystal that wasn't included in the bag with the others. This is a chunk of aquamarine that's about 1.5" big. According to the card, it's intended to promote clarity.
The Verdict: This is the perfect box for someone who's very specifically interested in crystals and related rituals. There are small home and beauty goodies, of course, and I do like the quality and uniqueness of those items. But the box feels like it really centers around the crystals and mat. In keeping with that, they provided a lot of info about what to be mindful/aware of throughout the month based on the astrological processes going on during the month.
