  1. Be sure to look up reviews before subscribing!

    • Don’t ever think FOMO isn’t a thing!!!!!

  2. What a fun giveaway, and what a perfect way to try out this subscription!! ‘Fingers crossed that I win, bud I’ll be happy for anyone who wins this! Looks like a fun box!

  3. My advice: Read the reviews and look for a coupon. (Both on MSA of course)

    • Agree completely!!

  4. My advice: Start with a low cost box and then venture out from there.

  5. to first check out the review on MSA, of course!

  6. My advice is to look for a coupon, usually there is a deep discount for new subscribers, so that you can save money.

  7. I advise reading reviews and then trying boxes on a monthly or seasonable basis, rather than jumping into a lot of annual subs!

  8. They are fun and definitely worth it as long as you remember you may not like every item and the goal is to try new things.

  9. I’m sooooo excited about this giveaway!

  10. I haven’t subscribed this box yet but it’s on my list. Thank you for this giveaway, MSA!

  11. My advice is to zero in on products you or your family loves. Then read the reviews to get some feedback. Have fun and swap what you don’t want/need’

  12. Set a budget and don’t subscribe to too many boxes, you will quickly become overwhelmed with product!

    • Couldn’t agree more! Set limits and stick to them. Also, don’t be afraid to unsubscribe and try new things!

      • Along with this, every few months do an assessment of what you got from a box, what you used from a box, what you liked, what you didn’t, what you swapped, what you gave away, etc. if you are only getting use out of one or two things from a box every month, then the subscription isn’t really worth it.

        • I agree with Emily, and have fun!

  13. My advice? Read reviews

  14. What a great opportunity to try this box! I’ve been curious about it for awhile!

  15. Check out reviews on this site for expert advice!

  16. Don’t try too many boxes at once or you’ll be overwhelmed with stuff!

  17. Eek so excited about this giveaway! My advice would be to read past reviews of the box and maybe even spoilers 😉 to make sure the box has something they would enjoy!

  18. Decide on a subscription budget and stick to it. Then cut out the other stuff that you don’t need to buy retail anymore (e.g. most beauty and stationary for me).

  19. Start with a monthly subscription as opposed to locking into a long-term commitment.

  20. To get started think about what you like best. Maybe try a lifestyle box for a variety of items. If you do beauty and makeup try one for the $10 price point. It can be overwhelming but this site is awesome for help.

  21. Margot Elena is the best box out there!

    • Love margot elena!

  22. Research, start small and have self control.

  23. What advice would I give to someone who is thinking about trying a subscription box? I would say DO IT!

  24. I signed up for this sub based on the MSA review – thank you for introducing me to the world of subs! Love this site and love Margot Elena.

  25. Don’t think you’ll love all of it. You probably won’t! It’ll still give you a chance to try things at a great price. Find people you can gift, work on trading and find a local shelter you can donate to. Personally, I don’t like lotions, but I know where I can donate all my unopened ones and I know the women there will love getting some higher end products.

  26. Do your research, and wait for a really great promo on a box that you really, really want! 30-50% off or a $100+ bonus is common for a first box, particularly for some of the big lifestyle boxes, so wait – even though it’s hard!

  27. Read reviews before subscribing!

  28. Research how their customer service is, not just the box contents. It’s surprisingly easy to be burned by extra charges or cancellation dates or defective items.

  29. Just discovered this box. I missed out on the summer Box, but became annual beginning in the fall. I’d love to make up for a missed-out-on Box!!!!

  30. Start small (inexpensive) and do your research.

  31. One of the main ones to consider is to set a budget for sub boxes. They may seem inexpensive at first, like only $10/month, but once you start subbing to multiple boxes they add up fast! Like the lotto says… Know your limit. 🙂 Once you got your budget established then start looking at boxes that suit your interests & budget.

  32. Definitely do some research, particularly of the season you are thinking of joining in. Start with month to month or a shorter subscription until you’re sure you like the sub. Try to plan out your subscriptions so that you’re ready to resubscribe when Black Friday rolls around – there are always some great deals.

  33. Look at reviews of past boxes to see what you can expect to receive and look for a coupon code!

  34. Looks like a great box!

  35. Do your research first! Before starting my first beauty subscription (Ipsy!!!), I looked at lots of past bags on here 🙂

  36. I know someone wins these but it’s never been me…maybe this time!

  37. I absolutely would love to win!

  38. Thanks for doing the giveaway! LoOKs like a great box!

  39. Read lots of reviews first!

  40. Research, research, research! Do not prepay for a year! I’ve been burned 3 times and never got my money back from beauty box 5, serendipity by llb & little lace box!!

  41. My advice is: There is (almost) always a coupon! You just have to look for it 🙂

  42. Always check this site first, great advice, great coupons, tips etc!!!

  43. Research and don’t overdo it too fast.(easier said than done)

  44. Read past reviews, of boxes that might interest you,on My Subscription Addiction and read comments that people have posted. Be careful because the addiction is real. Lol.

  45. Love this box!

  46. Just saw the summer box review and signed up for a year starting with Fall. Would love to win this box since I missed the summer edition !
    Thanks,Sandra

  47. Look at past reviews. Try out boxes for a couple of months before commiting to a long term subscription. Some boxes have big sales and signing up bonuses frequently (e.g., julep, Fff) others, almost never.

  48. My advice would be to look at past boxes of any subscription you’re looking to subscribe to. This site is very handy for researching what boxes fit you best!

  49. Hmmm….just enjoy it and have fun. Some months will be great, some just ok. Stay away from spoilers (but I love being surprised when I open my box!)

  50. I would advise to go on mysubscriptionaddiction and do research before subbing!
