This was my first Target box but I agree: they get it right. I’m a natural curly gal and I love the hair items they included.

Just got my box today and have to admit it: I like, I like, I like. The items are totally things I will use. I just cannot believe how perfectly Target nailed this box for someone like me. I am African-American with natural, kinky-curly hair and these items are just right for me: Aunt Jackie’s Don’t Shrink, Palmer’s Coconut Oil shampoo and conditioner set, Cantu Leave-In Conditioning Repair Cream, and Shea Moisture Daily Hydration Leave-In spray. Also, I got some Scunci No Damage Thick Hair Elastics, Secret Clinical Strength, and the $3 off coupon that I can use in-store or online for a beauty purchase of $15 or more. I think I will be using that coupon to pick up some more of the Palmer’s because I really like that. I haven’t used the other items yet though, so I might be picking up some of all the products. Awesome box. I just wish they would let customers sign up for it. I know it’s a tricky situation not to miss out with a first-come-first-serve deal. Tell you what, I just ditched Birchbox because they don’t pay any attention to my profile. Maybe I will set a phone reminder to check the Target box from now on.

I got that box too. I love the palmers. It’s great for dry color treated hair. As far as the gel I am giving to my Dominican friend who has very kinky hair. I will probably give her the conditioner too. I used the Shea moister spray and love the smell.

That gel is just too gluey for me. I sure hope that your friend likes it and I’d be really interested to know how it worked and if she found a way to use it. Loved this box!

I got both boxes yesterday. Tried the creamy body wash this morning. Very happy with the size. I think it may be full size. I didn’t get a box last month because I don’t wear make up often and don’t like lipsticks/glosses and have enough mascara from my Ipsy so I was pleased they had 2 boxes for July. And both had no make up which was a win for me.

I ordered the 1st box listed above. It arrived yesterday! So fast! I’m shocked at how much is actually in this box! Worth way more than $7!

I’ve been wanting to try the foaming body wash since I saw the Olay ones on Cartwheel last month (but my local Target didn’t have them in stock). Unfortunately the Nivea doesn’t smell nice and doesn’t work well with a shower puff (and I am not a fan of soaping myself up with my hands).
I guess I’ll buy the Olay ones with my two $3 off coupons.
It’s definitely a nice box overall though.

I received my first Target box today, and could tell immediately that there was something leaking in the box. I reported on their website right away, and they said they would replace the box. Does anyone have any experience with this? Are they pretty easy to deal with?

I received my box today. I got the first one. It was the heaviest I’ve ever received from Target. The sizes of product is really great. 6.8oz of the body wash and 2oz of the body scrub. 3 days worth of whitening strips when the 10 days is $20 is a great value. None of the others are puny.
I’m happy. It is still for sale, so I may even buy another after I try a few of the products.

I still have an unopened Be You(tiful) from Target, so can’t justify this! These! Whatever!

So excited about these and unlike most I love dry shampoo and use plenty of it enough so that I was running out until these boxes showed up! I also got the June’s men’s box which looks really good as well. I also need deodorant so excited to see if the one included in box two will work well.

Target boxes are the truth! I never knew some of these cool items/brands even existed! So, their team really does their job well and the price is just right!! I have bought more full sized items from Target than any of the other subscriptions and the main reason for that is the sample sizes. The samples are large enough to really get a feel for the product!!

I bought both. I have some hefty vet expenses this month so this is going to be one of the few treats I can buy myself.

I got both boxes plus the June men’s box. I love coconut (not dry shampoo, though), so I’ll use a few things, others will be gifted. You can’t beat the price.

Got both boxes last night when they were released. The first one is a nice mix with my favorite face scrub, and I can always use more curly hair products from the second box! The flaxseed gel is a natural option that is mentioned in the curly girl method that I have been wanting to try for awhile now. I found some great brands (mielle, jane curtain, etc.) from the last target box for textured hair and I have run out of most of those now, so this is good timing.

Got both boxes. I prefer skin care and hair care over make up. I won’t use the dry shampoo or tight curl gel. (Will gift those out for Xmas) but the rest of the products I will use. I skipped last month because I didn’t need mascara or lip products. So I was happy to see none of these boxes had make up.

I got notification from Target about these boxes being available before I got the email from this site so I didn’t see that there were actually two boxes but the first one is definitely more my taste then the second one. I too really have no reason to purchase these whatsoever because I definitely am on product overload and I totally blame it on me stumbling across this website many many months ago! I think that I need to start a subscription service support group for those of us who just cannot resist ourselves even though we honestly know we do not need any more beauty products whatsoever but cannot resist a good deal :). Anyone else interested in joining? 😁

LOL, my thoughts exactly!! I only saw the first option and already purchased it…now I see the second one but don’t need it…or really any more beauty stuff BUT I’m a sucker for sample/mini sizes because I love trying EVERYTHING!

Oh my gosh, you sound just like me. 😉 I think I get just as excited over the sample sized products as I do getting full-size products in my boxes. ha!
Sara
I’m with you! I always say no more, then get sucked in again especially as Target is so cheap.

I cut down on my sub boxes, but Target is hard to resist! I generally prefer skincare, hair care, body care over make up, so these are great match for me.

I can relate – glad I resisted, but sad I won’t be getting a package! Not that I have any more room.

it’s funny, but when you start really looking at beauty boxes with a critical eye, you realize how few you need or even want. Like I was thinking how great that Secret Clinical deodorant is (my new fave, thanks to trying in another box) but realized that’s the only thing I need from the box so I could just buy a full size for less than $7 and not get stuck with a few more leave-in conditioners to add to my bulging horde. It’s also funny that although I’m sort of proud of my newfound self-restraint, I also miss the fun of getting boxes. Anyone relate?? 😉

I’m with you, but my logical thinking goes in waves, and it usually only lasts two weeks at a time, with a few months in between before it kicks in again. 😀

Yes! I was totally addicted to buying them for quite a few months and have realized not only do I have a TON of products now, quite a few of them are ones I didn’t really need. But I do miss getting them!

I cut way back. I was making boxes for other people and giving away stuff left and right. I have a year of birchbox, a year of margot elena, and now a year of luxor. Plus the postage for swaps is getting way too expensive. So every now and again I will get myself a one time box ir if there is something that appeals to me. I do like “stuff” in the mail.

Cancelled all subs for the summer to work through stash. DO NOT need a thing yet got 2 boxes right now. I can and do gift a lot of products to family and friends. $7 each won’t hurt the budget and I MISS getting my boxes!!! I haven’t been to the mailbox all month. Keep sending hubby out to get mail since there is no reason for me to go…!! haha

For me it’s the other way around – I want the leave-in conditioners, lukewarm on the Secret. 🙂
But yeah, I can relate. I keep unsubscribing from Macy’s and coming back because I just miss those freaking coupons so much!

Yes…I can DEFINITELY relate!! 😉

It sure was a long wait for these! I got two of both, as I will use everything!!! I love that it was all skin care and hair.
I do admit that I also have dry shampoo that will last until 2030!!! But it’s always fun to try new brands!

Got the first one! I love masks and I really don’t need any dry shampoo either but I felt the other products made it worth it for me.

I was expecting these last Monday and this has been a long week of waiting. I can’t believe there are two boxes this month and I don’t want either one.

I cut way back on boxes bc I’m on overload and this thankfully is not that good for me always the same type of stuff so I’m gonna pass. I have no room in a big dresser for hair products, and no room on bathroom sink for anymore skincare lol so thanks Liz for the info 😊

I got both. Don’t need either.

I like buying 2 boxes every month – one for my daughter and me. Whatever neither of us wants to keep goes into a donation pile – to give to friends or put into care packages for women’s shelters. It’s such an affordable box, it just makes sense to always get one. I get 2 walmart boxes every season, too for the same reason.

Me too. I usually give away some of the products so that even if I can’t use them, some one else can.
It’s a good thing that I was having trouble signing into my account- I almost missed the second one.
