Bluum July 2018 Review
My Bluum box account is set up for my youngest son, Bennett, who is just over 3 months old. Let's see what we received this month:
Eeboo Star Rattle - Retail Value $14.99
This rattle is great! It's really the perfect size for little hands and is super soft and plush. The colors are nice, bright, and I love the detailed design on the front of the star.
I also like that it has this little loop so that you can attach it to a stroller or infant seat.
Eric Carle The Very Hungry Caterpillar Stroller Cards - Retail Value $9.02
I love Eric Carle books and pretty much anything Eric Carle, so I was happy to receive this set of stroller cards. They are bright and colorful and I like that they have the words on the back. However, I don't feel like it's a great option for my 3-month-old anytime soon or even in a few months since I'm sure he will be mouthing things and these don't quite seem like they will stand up to much baby drool. I actually think these are probably a better fit for my 2-year-old son.
I do love that they have a snap strap so that you can attach them anywhere and also that the teal ring itself can open so you can remove or possibly add cards if you want.
Babysoy Basic Solid Socks in Tea - Retail Value $4.00
Babysoy specializes in eco-friendly, chemical-free clothing and the story of how they got started is pretty interesting. These socks are pretty basic, but they have this elastic band at the top which helps keep them from slipping down, which is incredibly helpful when it comes to baby socks!
These are size 0-6 months, but as you can see, they are huge on Bennett, who is indeed looking like a little old man in this photo. (My sister joked that all he needed were some sandals to go with his socks!) The large size is not a problem for me though since these will probably fit right around winter time when we need them!
Bumkins Clear Travel Bag 3 Pack in Cactus Print - Retail Value $12.95
These travel bags are perfect for organizing a diaper bag or purse! The clear front makes it easy to find what you need and the waterproof fabric is super easy to wipe clean. I love that this is a set of 3, plus they are TSA compliant which makes traveling a bit easier!
I'm also in love with this cactus print! So cute!
The bags are a decent size, too. This is the medium bag which easily fits our rattle and socks!
Verdict: I really loved our Bluum box this month. While the stroller cards and socks probably won't get used right away, they are both things I can use for my son in the future. The bag set and the rattle are both great designs and are incredibly useful! I am a little obsessive over organizing my diaper bag, so the bag set is probably my favorite item in the box this month. This box costs $34 a month, including free shipping, and the total value of the items I received was $40.96. I think that's a pretty fair value considering I will be using every item in the box!
