Wantable is a styling service that sends clothing and accessories that fit your style. Wantable offers three different styling services: Style Edit, Fitness Edit, and Men’s Fitness Edit.
This box was sent to us at no cost to review (Check out our review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)
This review is of the Wantable Style Edit, $20 a month, box.
When you sign up, you fill out an extensive style profile. They ask what kind of items you would like to receive along with size, color, style, and price point preferences. Each category is ranked with a like, dislike, or love. There is also a space to leave notes for your stylist. By the end, your stylist should have a very good idea of what you like and don’t like.
Each edit includes 5-6 clothing and accessories items picked for you by your stylist using your style profile. You have 5 days to try everything on and to send what you don’t want to purchase back in the included prepaid envelope. My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your Wantable Style Edit may be completely different!

Wantable Style Edit June 2018 Review
Also, Wantable’s Stream feature allows you to request or deny specific items that they have available. Recently they introduced an option to buy some items individually from the Stream.
This edit is full of soft fabrics and summer trends. Let’s check it out.
Each edit includes a booklet with a note from your stylist and an invoice. This month, my stylist Kelsey sent me 6 clothing items and 1 accessory.
And here’s my invoice. If I were to keep the entire box, the $389 total would be discounted $97.80 (20% off + $20 styling fee deducted) for a total of $291.20. With this discount, each item would cost an average of $41.60.
Wantable also includes a prepaid return envelope for any items I don’t want to keep.
Let’s start with two pieces I paired together:
Beach Lunch Lounge Paige Off the Shoulder Tie Sleeve Top in Black/White, Size M - Cost to Keep $58 (Return)
I think this top is really cute! The tie sleeves and curved split hem give it such a summer picnic kind of vibe and the 100% cotton is cool and breezy. My problem is that this off the shoulder top won’t stay off my shoulders. The elastic banded top just slides right up and settles where a normal neckline would. I still think it’s cute like this, but it creates a poofy look at the top that wouldn’t be there if it was properly stretched out. I’m not sure about it so I’m sending it back.
Meritage Cropped Skinny w/ Frayed Step Hem in Drexel Wash, Size 28 - Cost to Keep $88 (Return)
These jeans are so soft and stretchy and fit perfectly. I love the trendy raw-edge step-hem and the light wash. I wish the waist was just a little higher to help smooth my midsection. I think that they would be more flattering if they were the same light wash all the way down the leg. Right now, this distressing highlights my thighs. I’m still tempted to keep them but I’m trying to be really picky about jeans since I have a few pairs I love already.
Z Supply Pencil Striped Dress in Black Iris, Size M - Cost to Keep $49 (Keep)
Now, this is the clear winner. It doesn’t translate the best in pictures, but this dress is so cute and swingy on. It’s a lightweight rayon/spandex mix that has the right amount of stretch without grabbing at lumps or bumps. The scoop neckline hits at the perfect spot so no need to worry about “the flash” when bending forward. This looks nice with white sneakers or nude wedges and is the perfect dress for casual summer days. I’m keeping this for sure. Actually, I’m wearing it as I write this review. 🙂
Z Supply Pocket Racer Tank in Black Iris, Size M - Cost to Keep $32 (Return)
I’ve received Z Supply tees in previous edits and mostly liked them. This tank is similar to their cotton knit tees with the slouchy pocket and longer curved hem, which I really like. It’s a simple casual tank that is ok, but I’m just not really in need of right now.
Piper Croc Burnout V-Neck Tee in Black, Size M - Cost to Keep $58 (Return)
The fabric and pattern on this tee are so interesting but I immediately felt bad when I put it on. It just has the most unflattering fit on me. First, I feel like I’d have to layer a cami underneath because it is sheer. Secondly, I think it’s just too tight. If it was swingier, maybe it wouldn’t look so boxy and would float away at the hip instead of squeezing. That’s okay though; I’m not really in need of any casual tees right now.
Articles of Society Sarah Release Hew Warren, Size 28 - Cost to Keep $64 (Return)
These are cute and I love the released hem. They give the pants a casual look without looking completely distressed. They fit well and have a slightly higher rise than the jeans earlier. The rust color seems like it would be perfect for fall but I just don’t think I have much to pair it with for summer. I’m going to hold off on these for now but may request them in my Stream when fall rolls around.
W. by Wantable Druzy Stone Bracelet Set in Gold - Cost to Keep $40 (Return)
So pretty, so sparkly, so tempting to keep. But, I have some bracelets almost exactly like this. The rose quartz colored druzy stone is set in a gold bezel and has a dainty gold chain that closes with a slider bead. These look really nice on their own but also look good stacked with other similar style bracelets.
The Verdict: So, most of the items this month weren’t winners for me. I didn’t utilize the Stream feature this month which probably would have helped my stylist hone in on items that I need. I do, however, love the dress and will be living in it this summer. It is so convenient to be able to try on clothes on at home, with my existing wardrobe, and on my own time. Plus, it is so fun to receive so many items! Since I only kept 1 item, I didn’t receive the 20% discount, but my $20 styling fee was applied to my purchase. For $20 a month (which also includes free shipping and returns), Wantable Style Edit is a low-risk way of shopping for clothes in the comfort of your home.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Wantable curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!
Value Breakdown: The styling fee for this box is $20.00 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $389. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 20% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $291.20 for the whole box.
