Pineapple Bib Set - Estimated Value $19.00 (value based on a similar set)
This pineapple bibdana set is perfect for the summer season! I love that they found a way to make pineapples into a more boyish design. I feel like fruit patterned clothing items are usually geared towards girls so this was a fun set for my son! The set is 100% cotton and machine washable which is so necessary when it comes to babies!
I like that the hat matches the blue in the bibdana perfectly, but is a solid color. It seems nicely made with two layers of material.
The bibdana is nice and thick enough to catch the mess, but not so thick that it’s going to make him sweat as we’ve experienced with some bibdanas. I like that this is also reversible, has a little bit of stretch to it and has two different size options. The pineapple side has a bit of sheen to it while the blue just feels like basic cotton to me.
The hat is a little big and I had to roll it up in order to get a good fit. But this also means it will fit him for quite awhile! I think I probably could have styled it a little slouchy too, but he’s only 8 weeks old, so we’ll save that for when he can sit up a little.
Verdict: This was my first time receiving The Boy Box and I thought it was a really cute set. I love that the designs are fitting for the current season and that the hat is bigger so that I can get a lot of use out of it as my little guy grows. The bib sets retail for $19.00 so for $12.98 ($9.99 + $2.99 shipping), I think it’s a great way to add new accessories to his wardrobe.
