The Anfield Box Subscription Box Review – Anfield Box 8

The Anfield Box is the first-ever subscription box dedicated to Liverpool FC! It’s curated by The Anfield Shop, which is my go-to Liverpool North American store, and ships quarterly.

This month didn’t really have a theme – but it also included some of the best items I’ve ever received in a subscription box!

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Anfield Box 8 May 2018 Review

This month was just so great…while not all of the items were great – the hero items were some of the biggest home runs in any subscription box.

It arrives with an information card that details a few of the items and reasoning behind it.

Framed Match-Used Net – Value PRICELESS

Let’s just start with the grand-slam, or I should say the quadruple of an item, this is football.

Every subscriber received a piece of match-used net from the 17/18 season! I was in actual disbelief when opening this one – it’s a 14×9 inch display that can be mounted or stand alone.

It’s fully ready to be on your wall!

Most importantly – it comes with the certificate of authenticity. I really can’t get enough of this item. While the season didn’t end with silverware, you can’t deny that it was one of the most exciting seasons in recent times, and I believe that it is full of progression for next season.

Mo Salah Bobblehead – Value $28

Speaking of the 17/18 season – it’ll always be remembered for Mo’s record-breaking Premier League goalscoring onslaught! Now, you’ll have your own Mohammed Salah bobblehead!

Mo is a little over 8 inches tall. They mention on the card that this item was also about 9 months in development – wow – now he’ll never bobble alone.

Jersey Towel – Value $15-20?

On top of the season being a memorable one, I also thought the 17/18 kit was one of the best kits – so I was happy to get this towel as another piece of commemorative 17/18 items.

It’s about 23 inches from top to bottom and is 100% polyester. This is a great item for your gameday spot.

Paddle Ball Set – Value $10-15?

You’ll also get an LFC paddle ball set.

These could be a nice item to take to the Liverpool US pre-season tour!

Anfield Shop Sunglasses – Value $5?

Similar to the very first Anfield Box, you’ll get some Anfield Shop sunglasses.

While they’re on the basic side, Liz has been rocking the previous pair from time to time.

Verdict: While the season didn’t end the way that LFC fans wanted it to, with time it’ll still be a memorable run-in. This box did a perfect box at commemorating such a fun season with its hero items – this is one of my favorite Anfield Boxes to-date! They’ve been doing such a great job of getting exclusive autographed and commemorative items – that’s exactly the type of stuff that we fans want from a fan box!

Also – a special shout out to LFC Pittsburgh for hosting one of the craziest watch parties I’ve been to – I can’t believe we could find 50-70 LFC fans in Pittsburgh to come together, sing, and bounce – it was a blast and I can’t wait until next year, or for the next box!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. It is currently sold out and the next opening would be for Box 9 box.

  1. Hey man… I had no idea that this was you doing the reviews….

    • Hey! Hope to see you again at future watch parties – this time with more silverware.

  2. “He’ll never bobble alone”… classic. 😀
This is an amazing box! I can hardly believe you have a piece of match-used net! I can think of several nets I wish I had a piece of.
It is ironic that you post this today as, earlier, Bing told me it is Travel Guide Sunday and asked if I’d ever considered a trip to Merseyside. >_> what? are they reading my bucket list?
