ShoeDazzle is a monthly shoe, clothing, and accessories subscription service. You can shop their merchandise like normal retail, but they have a VIP subscription that gives you better prices – almost everything is only $39.95 (or less) for VIPs. When you sign up for a membership, you complete a style profile. On the 1st of every month, they release new styles and you can pick any item you want - either from your personal 'Showroom' or across the site. You can also skip the month. However, if you don’t pick or skip, you get charged $39.95 store credit to spend any time.

This model is similar to how JustFabFabletics, and AdoreMe work.

ShoeDazzle May 2018 Review

ShoeDazzle included an invoice that is rather standard. On the back are return and/or exchange policy information.

They included another discount code for Nakedwines.com. I have received quite a few of these cards, but have yet to sign up. This is a great deal, though! One always can stock up on wine as gifts for housewarmings, dinner parties, etc.

ShoeDazzle included this $50 coupon for Hello Fresh meal plan service. This is another service I have considered using, especially due to Jess and Anna’s Hello Fresh reviews! The food always looks so amazing!

Cool Crop in Tango Red, size 24 — Retail Value $56.95, VIP Member Price $39.95

Ever since my April Dia & Co box, I have been pining for a pair of capri/cropped jeans in a color other than black or dark blue. I spotted these and immediately had to order them! These hit me high enough in the waist, but seem a bit big in the thigh and very snug in my calves. The pants have ample stretch, so I am eager to see how they fit with multiple wears. I love these pants, regardless, and think they will become a versatile staple in my wardrobe this summer into fall. I can see pairing them with an old band t-shirt and booties or in this case a retro, psychedelic style print sleeveless blouse.

Cati Knotted Slide Sandal in Gold, size 9.5 — Retail Value $44.95, VIP Member Price $29.95, $10 Dazzle Deal

I immediately fell in love with these shoes when I saw them, but wanted to wait till they went on sale. Fortunately, I got a notice about a Dazzle Deal and was able to snag these for $10! Originally when I placed my order, though, I got charged full price. I reached out to ShoeDazzle as soon as I noticed this and they advised once I received my order they would adjust the $19.95 I was charged in error. They made the corrections and I must say I am really pleased with the great customer service I was provided! I am equally impressed with the shoes! I LOVE GOLD SHOES. My boyfriend’s response upon seeing them was, “Another pair of gold shoes, babe? Are you joining the cast of the Love Boat!” Whatever! The gold metallic knot style on these is not only stunning, but I felt no rubbing or irritation while I wore them. These sandals are made incredibly well! They are wide enough for my Barney Rubble feet and feel comfortable to walk in. I bought these imagining my summer vacation sitting poolside in a bikini, leopard fringe kimono, and these gorgeous gold sandals on, but I know they will add a touch of old-school Hollywood glamour to a variety of outfits! I styled these against my red and pink 60s inspired outfit along with my gold glitter sunglasses and gold and pink hoops from Pinup in a Pack (review soon to come!) to perfectly tie the outfit together.

Verdict: I absolutely love this month’s ShoeDazzle selections! For the price of $49.95, I got a pair of pants and shoes - what a deal! My only complaint with ShoeDazzle is that they don’t have as wide of a plus selection as they do their straight sizes, especially for swimwear. I also hope they opt to broaden their plus size range as well. It goes up to size 24w, but the fit at times is more like a 20w. I have seen the selections steadily improve, so I am hoping it will continue to go in a consistent and inclusive direction. I am also pleased with the great, speedy customer service I received.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? The pants and shoes are still available on the Shoedazzle site!

Coupon - New VIP Members, get your first look for $10! No code needed, just use this link!

Value Breakdown: This time the pants I ordered were $56.95 and the shoes were $44.95, but with the VIP cost I got the pants for $39.95 and with the Dazzle Deal I got the shoes for $10! That is a $51.95 savings. What a deal!

It’s so cool to see fashion recycled. My mom was a cocktail waitress and wore this style of shoe all the time with her “sizzler” outfits. For those of you who don’t know what those were, it was a mini dress with matching bottoms like a swim suit bottom. My mom was a total babe!!

Totally super cute outfit- love the color! Looks so nice on you.
Those shoes are perfect- any sliding around in them? I am switching to flats or kitten heels only due to foot surgery so it’s fun to look for all new shoes. I miss my heels though!

And I agree, your reviews are so good- much appreciated how detailed you are.

To go with the shoes: a 40’s style bathing suit and a lounge chair…by the pool of the Beverly Hills Hotel 🙂

Nicole, thank you so much for showing fit details, like waist, belly, and butt. I’m so happy to see more companies offering plus sizes… now if they would just keep going and offering “super” sizes. I’m about a size 30, and most of what I wear are dresses and “loungers” that are meant to fit really loose, so I do okay with a 26, sometimes 24.

KimberlyB, I definitely try to give an honest view of each piece, so I appreciate your words. I used to be closer to a 26, so I totally understand where you are coming from! Shoedazzle and other brands would benefit from expanding their brands even further like Torrid did. I range from 18-24 these days, but in most Shoedazzle items I am their largest. I actually got 3x shorts too I wanted to review along with this outfit and I couldn’t even zip them! That is obnoxious! So, as much as I like shoedazzle, they and other retailers have a ways to go for sure!
