Rose War Panty Power June 2018 Review

Here's June's welcome card. Rose War Panty Power makes sure to check off items that are included in the box. Some month's don't include ALL checkmarks, but it's nice seeing the retail value upfront for most items.

Hatai Korean Strawberry Pie Snack — Buy a 15-count box for $3.19

As I've said in past reviews, I'm never a huge fan of the treats included in each Rose War Panty Power Box. Sometimes they're so small or strange, I'd rather do without 'em! This Strawberry Pie was no exception—it tasted very processed and its surrounding wafer had a dry, styrofoam-like texture. The strawberry filling was better, but still too sweet for me. I gladly moved on to the rest of the box's contents.

Seventh Generation Organic Cotton Tampons, Regular — Buy a 20-pack of regular size for $6.99

This month, just like last month and months before that, I received a cute bundle of natural tampons. This time around, I also received a few pads! These were made by Seventh Generation, which is a brand I see often when shopping at Target. The total count was six Regular tampons, six Super tampons, and two light-absorbancy pads, all wrapped up with a cute bow. Each has cardboard applicators and braided string, and they were accompanied by a lengthy information pamphlet.

Jennifer Intimates Blush Panties — Estimated Value $5.00

I wasn't able to find this exact pair of underwear online, but it seems Jennifer Intimates does a lot of wholesale underwear around this pair's estimated value. They were okay! The material is thin and borderline Spandex, but they have a nice stretch and don't show any panty lines when worn. I've gotten better pairs in past boxes but was pretty satisfied with these.

Grace Underwear –Estimated Value $6.00

Grace is another wholesale underwear manufacturer, so this pair's value is estimated. I liked these a lot! They're a great color with sturdy lace trim, which is important—I've shredded delicate pairs of underwear in the wash more times than I can count! It's a relatively ho-hum design, yes, but it's better than a lot of pairs I've received from Rose War Panty Power in the past.

Naturally Pure Crabby Pants Oil Blend – Retail Value $17.00

I love the name of this product so much! It's an essential oil blend of lavender, ylang-ylang, clary sage, jasmine, and rose oils in 1 oz. of jojoba blending oil. Its intended use is for cramps and bloated stomachs—you simply rub the blend on your lower belly! I applied this when I was feeling a bit bloated, and the earthy, uplifting scent combination immediately put me in a lighter mood.

I can't speak to its effectiveness in relieving cramps yet, but I'm excited to try it out when needed!

Sierra Nicole Align Face Mask – Retail Value $20.00

It's always so refreshing to use face mask blends, rather than face mask sheets every so often—I like mixin' it up! This face mask concoction is said to help align and balance the skin during monthly breakouts with phytoestrogens. It also calms and detoxes blemishes and is crafted from Fuller's earth clay, Morrocan red clay, honey powder, arnica, red clover, sage, licorice root, and lavender. I love how natural its ingredients are.

I simply mixed it with 1 tsp. water (more or less depending on your desired consistency) and applied to my face. I waited until it was fully dry and then applied a warm towel in order to loosen it up to rinse. My skin felt refreshed and tight after using it. It was a great experience with no irritated reactions or breakouts!

Aesthetica Pro Brush Series Professional Powder Makeup Brush, #P12 – Retail Value $27.00

This is GREAT quality! It's fluffy, soft, and clearly well-made. Its synthetic fibers are said to allow for maximum control in order to create seamless makeup looks. I don't have much makeup talent or even many products to use with this brush, but it certainly makes me want to give it a try!

Verdict: This month's box was a much-welcomed improvement compared to last month's! The two pairs of underwear I received were definitely higher in quality, albeit a bit run-of-the-mill. I was THRILLED to receive the skin care and essential oil products. They were clearly high quality and felt so luxurious to use! As I said last month, I could do without the dessert treats, but that's a relatively minor gripe. All-in-all, I was very satisfied with June's box!

I’m the opposite. I love trying new snacks even if they aren’t 100% up my alley.
