I purchased the Gilt City deal LAST quarter, which included the Tribe Alive carryall. I decided to keep the subscription at regular price, since I liked everything in the summer box. It arrived yesterday, and I received ANOTHER tote Tribe alive carryall! Definitely some issues going on, but I guess i won’t complain, since I actually got MORE than I had been promised…

I just received my box (purchased with the voucher) in the mail today and it did NOT include the sunglasses. No indication on any packing slip (there was no packing slip in the box, actually) that the glasses would be arriving separately. I just e-mailed customer service, but am nervous that I won’t hear back.
Liz, I have been noticing a LOT of negative customer service comments about this box lately. I would not have known this if I hadn’t read the comments here. Just a suggestion that it might possibly be time to include this info in the reviews? I have seen similar disclaimers on the Oui Please box, so I was just wondering. Thanks.

I just received a very nice email from customer service apologizing and saying that they are having tech issues with the gilt orders and boxes should go out at the end of the week. He also said the sunglasses will be shipping separately. I would reach out since you already received yours minus the glasses. He also said they are revamping the member services from the ground up so hopefully that means less issues contacting them.

I ordered the BoS with this code for the sunglasses from Gilt City. I got my shipment notification and it includes a tote bag that isn’t apart of the box….anyone else get this? Not sure if this is in place of the sunglasses or an extra?

Please post and let us know if your box has the glasses. I’m still waiting on customer service to respond about the glasses since it said nothing on my purchase email from BOS. They better not be replacing the glasses since most of us got that deal based on that extra!

Yep, I got the same notification. I think they forgot to update the info for this season’s box on the sale…the last one through Gilt City included a free tote bag. I’m only guessing they forgot to update it because the sale also said to choose the necklace color (from the last box) and we chose the towel print instead. (I’m hoping it’s a mistake…the sunglasses were why I finally ordered it!) It also wouldn’t make sense for them to include two tote bags in a shipment, right? Fingers crossed!

This would have been my first box and today I received an email that my subscription was cancelled?? I’ve never had a sub with them, not with another email or anything. I’m waiting to hear back, but I have to say I’m disappointed with the start of this.

On my account page it saus subscription is Can celled, but under payment it says “pending”, so ???? How can there be a payment pending if I put in the code (payment already went thru to Git just fine!) and the total amount due is $0.00??

Yesterday, I made a reply to this explaining all the issues I have had with this box and that ultimately it was cancelled and refunded by Gilt. Any reason my reply didn’t make it past moderation?

They replied to my email about the cancellation said they couldn’t find an account for me even though I forwarded the email FROM THEM with my account information from the email I set up the account with. When I replied again giving them everything I possibly could, they stopped responding. I last heard from them last Thursday. I complained on Instagram and they messaged me saying they would get back to me soon. I called Gilt to complain about it and they said they would check into it. Today I get an email from Gilt saying they’ve refunded my money. I am super annoyed now, have no box and am not sure if I should just be glad and move on. Their customer service is HORRID.

They usually stay for 2 weeks or until it sells out. You can always chat with gilt and ask when it ends. If there is a site wide promo then it may sell out and you should purchase then.

I did not see any mention of sunglasses and did wonder. Also, the voucher you receive says to choose a necklace color, but when you go to the site you’re asked to choose a beach towel color instead. I was actually happier about choosing a beach towel color, but I really hop to receive the sunglasses.

A couple years ago I took a deal with a free gift too. They didn’t mention it but it was definitely in the box. I was happy too as I had wonderered like you if I would receive it or not. They kept their promise. I’m sure you’ll get your sun glasses. Fingers crossed.

I love love love the earings! Might go on ebay to try to get them. I dont swap because I havent been subbing to anything for a while. Although the box is nice I feel I’ve received similar items in the pasts years and I dont need anymore.

The Kate Somerville product is $65, I believe. I bought the box for $75 from the BOS site for the cream alone, really. I also liked the Kilmn print towel for everyday use at our pool but it’s not essential.. I think the box is worth exactly $75 with shipping..
