Postmark'd Studio PostBox June 2018 Review

Mr Thank You instructions

There is usually a letter-writing initiative or challenge on one side of the info card. This month highlights "Mr. Thank You" which is a thank you letter writing initiative to "elevate the level of gratitude on the planet by 1%", started by John "Izzy" Israel.

Backyard BBQ info card

This month brings serious summer vibes with the "Backyard BBQ" theme!

bundled cards

PostBox is always presented in a really special way. This time they've wrapped the cards in a red gingham ribbon.

postcard and pencil

You'll always get a postcard and a pencil with your delivery.

stamps

Assorted Forever Stamps x 5 - Total Retail Value $2.50

Here are the stamps included this month. I was super excited to see Mr. Rogers repped since he is a hometown hero in Pittsburgh as well as across America. BTW, I STRONGLY recommend seeing the documentary about him "Won't You Be My Neighbor?". Bring tissues.

summer bbq letterpress card

Survival Summer BBQ Card - Retail Value $5.50

This is a super cool letterpress card that has all sorts of BBQ faves all over it in red and blue ink. That makes it perfect for celebrating the 4th of July or even a Dad or Grad in your life. The inside is blank so you can send it for any occasion and it comes with a handsome navy blue envelope.

friendship like this is rare card

Rare Friendship Card - Retail Value $5.00

Welp, this is the perfect card to send my friend Bree who is a meat princess. She loves all things meat and a rare steak is synonymous with her name to anyone that knows her. This comes with a kraft paper envelope so you can wrap it just like a steak in butcher paper.

Franks a lot card

Franks A Lot Card - Retail Value $5.50

Continuing the BBQ theme we have this fun thank you card that features a hot dog dressed in a bun doing a happy dance. The punny phrase "Franks A Lot" is across the front in a mustard yellow hue. A great summertime thank you card if I've ever seen one.

Summer grilling card

Summer Grillin' Card - Estimated Retail Value $5.00

Simple and graphic; this card has a red charcoal grill, a dressed hot dog, and a fully formed hamburger illustrated on the front. As with the others, this one is also blank so you can send it anytime, anywhere. It comes with a kraft paper envelope and gold seal.

matchstick notelets back of matchstick notelets writing sample inside matchstick notelets

Matchstick Notelets - Retail Value $4.99

Matches are a necessary accessory to grilling, so this little sticky note pad fits in well. About twice the size of your standard matchbook, this little pad has enough room to jot down a short grocery list to stock up for the next cookout.

pigmja micron .08 pen pigmja micron .08 pen with cap off

Pigma Micron 08 Pen - Retail Value $2.50

I love these pens! It has archival ink so it won't fade and makes it perfect for writing unforgettable letters. The 08 size tip actually delivers a 0.50mm line which isn't too thin and will create a nice bold letter.

marching ants gift tags in pacakge marching ants gift tags

Ants Picnic Gift Tags, set of 2 - Estimated Retail Value $2.00 (Buy a pack of 12 for $12.00)

If you need a summer-y way to address a gift, look no further than these picnic ant gift tags. Three lines of ants cross this crisp white tag and leave plenty of space to write a note. They come with twine to attach easily to your gift bag or package.

Let's Catch Up Gift Set - Retail Value $13.00

let's catch up card on gift package

It starts with a postcard attached to the front saying "Let's Catch Up" featuring ketchup and tomatoes.

soap and soap wooden soap dish in package

Inside you'll find something that smells so wonderful: a soap and wooden soap dish set!

cocoa butter t.o.y. soap in box

The soap smells super minty even though the "cocoa butter" variation on their site is supposed to be rosemary scented. Hmm. At any rate, it does smell really nice.

wooden soap dish

The wooden soap dish it comes with is the perfect size and handcrafted just for the soap!

See? Perfect.

Verdict: Postmark'd Studio's PostBox is at the top of my favorite subscription boxes and do greeting cards so darn well! What's even better is that in addition to the cards, they always have great writing utensils and accessories that tie the great themes they choose together. The BBQ theme is perfect for June and all of the cards and accessories are a wonderful quality.
