Smartass & Sass Cat Lady for Life Box Review
Here is the info sheet detailing the products included.
I Work Hard Unisex Bella + Canvas Tee in Heather Charcoal - Estimated Value $22
This tee is super soft and is so comfortable to wear. The unisex style makes for a relaxed fit, which makes this perfect for sleeping and lounging around the house because of how comfortable it is. I estimated the value based on how other S&S tees are priced in their shop.
Primitives by Kathy Cat Hair: Both a Condiment and a Fashion Accessory Tea Towel – Estimated Value $8
Since the majority of the fur on Duchess is white and she is a longhaired kitty, I don’t even try to keep the cat hair off my clothes. Cat hair likes to get everywhere, which means I have plucked a stray hair off a dish or two (or several). My only complaint about this tea towel is the white color, as it will stain easily and that’s never something I intentionally try to bring into my kitchen.
I Prefer Cats Over People 11 oz. Mug with Lid – Estimated Value $10
In the mornings when I am reaching for a hot beverage I really do prefer cats over people, so this mug speaks to me on a spiritual level. Since it is ceramic it insulates my tea well, and I love the handle which protects my hands from the heat.
Emily McDowell Studio Cat Lady for Life Fridge Magnet – Retail Value $5
I love this artistic cat portrait magnet—the flowers and the bright colors really brighten up the surrounding area. Since my fridge is black, this is nice pop of color to see every time I go to get noms.
Turtle’s Soup Meh Cat Butt Sticker – Retail Value $3
How cute is this sticker! Duchess will legit look at me when she is in this exact position, so I immediately giggled when I saw this. Now all I need to do is find a cute place to stick it.
Primitives by Kathy Cats and Wine Make Everything Fine Socks – Estimated Value $11
Cats and wine are some of my favorite things, so these socks are right up my alley. They are one-size-fits-most, and since I have thick calves I leave these scrunched at my ankles. They are really soft, and I really get a kick out of wearing them.
Stay at Home Cat Mom Oversized Tote – Estimated Value $16
I love this tote! It is deceptively large, so you can really pack a lot of items into this. I used it as my beach tote when I went to the beach the other week, and it everything I could have needed at the beach with room to spare. Plus, it passes the over-the-shoulder test so I can carry it comfortably. Smartass and Sass didn’t list a value, but they sent a similar oversized tote in their January box, which is where the value is coming from.
The Verdict: As a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady, I loved every single thing in this box. I thought it was a good mix of useful items and kitschy goods, and I appreciate the humor that is typical in the items included in a Smartass and Sass box. I had to estimate the values for most of the items, and I based them off other similar items in the S&S shop. With that in mind, I calculated a value of $75.
