March 2018 Lootaku “Of Gods & Monsters (DBZ)” Review

This month’s box had some great vinyl statues – and one of the coolest coin banks!

Each month includes a detailed information card with information on each item – including item values based on Amazon at the time of curation.

Shenron Coin Bank – Value $22 on the card ($24 online)

This is just the coolest banks out there! It’s a large vinyl Shenron head!

It sits upright like it’s bursting through the clouds and is about 8 inches tall – and you’ll pop your change in through the teeth.

The detail of the bank is spot-on.

Flip it over to open the bank and get your change.

Banpresto Creator x Creator Shenron – Value $30 ($35 on Amazon)

Sticking with Shenron, everyone gets one of two possible Shenron statues from Banpresto. This is the normal variant, but you could also pull a rare wood color variant.

Like everything from Banpresto, it’ll arrive in plastic wrapped pouches. Pop out all the pieces and get building.

Also like all Banpresto items, the quality and detail work is all top notch! Shenron is about 6 inches tall when it’s all built!

The back of the package also gives you a glimpse at the wood variant that I mentioned…I think I like the normal variant better, though.

Banpresto Creator x Creator Oozaru Vegeta – Value $30 ($38 on Amazon)

Like the Shenron figure, you’ll also receive one of two possible variants of Goku’s rival – Oozaru Vegeta.

This is part of the same Creator x Creator line from Banpresto. Pop out the pieces and get going.

This is the normal variant of the figure. It’s a decent sculpt – but I’ve seen better from Banpresto. The statue stands about 7 inches tall.

Again – the back has a glimpse at the color variant.

Dragon Ball Coasters – Value $10?

This is a Lootaku exclusively created item for subscribers. Everyone receives a 1 and 4 star coaster.

They’re ceramic – so they’re really going to hold up to whatever you put on it!

Each one has a non-slip cork bottom, as well.

Verdict: I always look forward to seeing what’s inside each Lootaku box. I love collecting figures and statues, so this is one that I know that I’ll be guaranteed to get an awesome statue. That being said, Lootaku definitely skews towards Anime – so that should be noted when subscribing!

To Wrap Up:
