info sheet for durango fluorapatite

Next, there’s an info sheet all about the featured Crystal of the Month: Durango Fluorapatite.

Durango Fluorapatite

At first, this 1.5-inch specimen didn’t look like much, but once I got a closer look it became evident that it was full of things to discover! The white part of the crystal has some splashes of yellow. Turn it around and you have more grey and yellow crystals nestled within the white and grey body. So magical! From the info sheet, I learned that this crystal hails from Durango, Mexico and while fluorapatite is one of the most common minerals of the phosphate group, it doesn’t always form a crystal like this.

You’ll always receive a baggy filled with bonus mini crystals or minerals!

lepidolite mica

Lepidolite Mica

Oooh, I love mica and this one has lovely delicate layers that form its solid form. This lepidolite is pearly and reflective, reminiscent of something found deep in the ocean. While it seems hard to the touch at first, a simple scratch of a fingernail exposes how delicate and soft it can be.

rose quartz

Rose Quartz

This is a real classic for me because of it’s connection to the heart chakra. It’s hard to see this pale pink hued crystal against the similar background, but it has a pretty soft rose-colored hue. I have a lot of rose quartz already, so I’ll be sending this one to my best friend in California who recently said she was drawn to it.

dalmation jasper

Dalmatian Jasper

I’m not familiar with this spotted specimen but slowly turning this raw white rock with black specks in hand gives way to little hints of sparkle. Via Crystal Vaults I learned that “The determination within Dalmatian Stone encourages one to carefully think over plans for any project, reflecting on every phase of development, and then to translate the ideas into actuality with enthusiasm and vigor. It is an excellent talisman for the early stages of setting up a business or solo venture”.

Verdict: Enchanted Crystal sent me four stones and crystals this month. There were a few new ones and one old familiar which is a nice mix, in my opinion. I love receiving mystery crystals each month, especially ones I wouldn’t normally pick out myself.
