Now on to the items!
Beautaniq Beauty Glow Serum - 6 ml Value $6.90
This is a super pigmented/shimmery liquid highlighter with apricot fruit extract plus aloe vera, so it's nourishing to your skin, too. Here it is swatched:
The rose gold/champagne color is gorgeous, and it's pretty easy to blend before it sets. (But once it sets, it stays put!) And a little goes a long way, so this sample should last me for a while!
R+Co Waterfall Moisture + Shine Lotion - 15 ml Value $2.50
This styling cream reminds me of the signature Ouai scent! It's lightweight, works on damp or dry hair, and added softness without weighing down my hair.
Davines SU Hair & Body Wash - 2.5 oz Value $7.20
I’ve sampled this before, and it’s as luxe as it looks. The scent is fresh and slightly powdery, and I love a multi-use product for summer travel!
Red Earth Deep Dive Water Cream - .25 oz Value $3.47
This gel/cream hybrid is giving me Laneige vibes in the best way!
The formula is so light and soothing. It absorbed almost instantly, felt great on my skin - it's an ideal summer moisturizer for me.
Beauty Blender Sample - Value?
I'm not sure if I'd assign any value to this. It's maybe a good disposable solution for traveling if you don't want to worry about cleaning your full-size beauty blender, but it's not as easy to use as a true beauty blender.
Verdict: This box has a value of about $20 - I think that's good for a $10 beauty box. In general, the curated boxes from Birchbox tend to have a good value, so if that's important to you, I recommend picking those each month! I liked everything in this box, and the Red Earth product is my favorite new discovery - the price for the full-size is really reasonable, too!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, this box is available for a one-time purchase! And if you subscribe to Birchbox now, your first box will be the July box. (Tip: Check the image on the sign-up page. The box design pictured is the first month you'll receive.) You can't pick the curated box as your first box, but you'll be able to pick it every month moving forward.
