So far, for me, these ace sales have been a complete let down. It seems like they are just trying to onload excess inventory.
The only day that was even inviting was the first day, but they didn’t offer the sale for all their Limited Edition boxes.

100% agree with you! That first day is the only day I’ve found worth while. Also, I’m slightly irritated over the Free 6-Piece Summer Bag with 6-Month Subscription. Because, that seriously seems better then anything happening with ACES week. The summer bag is better then the kit they advertised yest. for ACE week. That kit is seriously just a combo of stuff they sample all the time and samples that they only give out in the joke of a sample pack when you spend $35 +. Because, a few of the samples from that kit I swear I’ve never even seen included in the monthly sub box.

But, I am betting one of days will be free points placed in our account for 48hrs.

Though a lot of ACES will tell you being an ACE with this company really doesn’t mean much. This company seems to give better promotions to new costumers. They have free gifts with subscriptions all the time.

In my opinion the only real advantage to being an ACE is priority on sample choice. Sample choice is where Birchbox allows you to pick one of your 5 samples for the month. And BB shows 3 samples monthly you can choose from. Or pick a curated box where you know all 5 of the samples you’re receiving.

When it comes to sample choice ACES can choose a day before the rest of the subcription customers.

Hmmm. I actually prefer the free shipping and special sales more than anything else. I’m not sure about the priority customer service because I remember always having good responses (even before I was an Ace) but they have been good to me. I only sub on and off because I’m often just not impressed with the sample choices or sizes. But I still maintain my Ace status because I end up buying so much in the shop!

If you spend more than $300 in a calendar year on the Birchbox site with your account, you’ll achieve Ace status. You get more points per $ spent, free shipping, sample choice for the subscription a day or so early and some special offers (like they are featuring this week).
