I can appreciate the sun cream…..but I have accumulated so many sunscreens this summer in all my boxes….ugh!!!

I am definitely in the minority here but I like this box so far. Hoping for something more like a serum or treatment to get added. I understand where people are coming from though since we just got 2 full size sunscreens already

Cancelled! Used to love beauty fix and hope they come up with some better products in coming months.

Bobbie

I canceled and there is nothing so far that makes me want to re-subscribe.

Wow June’s box was Amazing! And now this box is Awful! Canceling for this month definitely!

I cancelled. If I get more sunscreen, I want it to be reef safe.

I have more suncreen than I will use up this summer. I do love the elemis, but again, I have enough facial suncreens as well. I guess I am skipping this month.

Anyone else notice the Sun Bum is twice the size of the Elemis? 1 oz. for $2 vs. .5 oz for $38.

Does the Elemis give you a happy ending, too? Seems a little overpriced.

LA

Maybe you can use it for those type of things? 😀 😀 :’D sorry… cracking up.

I’ve gotten the Elenis cream before (albeit without the spf) and while it’s nice, there is nothing in it which justifies the ridiculous high price. But that is true of so many beauty products.

I wouldn’t mind getting it in a box as an extra, as long as there was a full size product that wowed me in this box. But the glo stick doesn’t do it.

Exactly. It is not clinical or even spa strength really. I have a supposed ‘peel’ cream of there. Does nothing. I usually use licensed product. I wish Beautyfix would add more acidsssss! Be gone wrinkles! That was mainly why i liked BF….

Mel

I’m pretty underwhelmed so far.

We don’t lose our points do we if we cancel a month of beautyfix do we?

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

No you just don’t accumulate for that month obviously. Make sure you do the 5 reviews a month for your points also!

How do you review? I don’t see option on site. Thank you in advance and for the tip.

Cp

Ok thank you

Cancelled for this month.. Only item I’m interested in is the Elemis and I have that cream in the non-spf form. I have 4 bottles of sun bum right now and don’t need anymore. Also, I don’t wear makeup, so I don’t want the lip crayon, nor do I want another bottle of that water. This month is a miss for me..

Danielle

I think I’m gonna skip this month. I need another lip product like I need a hole in my head. I was excited for the Elemis but I got the same size in the non-SPF version previously (can’t remember which box) and the tube wasn’t completely full so I used it up in a week. I too have gotten that water before and it didn’t do anything for me. And now this $2 sample spoiler. I live at the beach so I’d be lucky to get a full day’s worth of coverage. Oh well BF is very hit or miss for me so maybe next month will dazzle me like June did. Luckily it’s super easy to cancel.

I know some people use tons of sunscreen, but I don’t, so I’m kinda bummed to get 2 sunscreens in a box following a month with 2 sunscreens! :/

Tanvi

Is this sunbum a body aunscreen or facial sunscreen?

Reply ButtonReply

Cyndi

I’m using the spray version now and have applied it to my face with no irritation.

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

I was wondering the same thing, so I clicked on the link, but the product description doesn’t really say. It does refer to anti-aging, however. Considering the full-size is 4.8oz, I’m betting it’s for the body (which is how I’ll plan to use it)… but who knows… it could be safe for the face too!

Claire

I can never get enough sunscreen so yes, another welcome item. I wonder how many more products there will be as the value does not yet reach $100 which is the guaranteed lowest value of each box. Anyway, Beautyfix is the only sub. that has me using and finishing every product.

I got the June box and then cancelled my subscription just due to financial reasons. However now I want to resubscribe for the July box lol…anybody know when is a good time to do it? I don’t want to sign up now and get the June box again, but I also don’t want to miss out on the July box! Thanks 🙂

Barb

I have never seen them sell out a box. The boxes go on sale a few days into the month. If you look and it says sold out early in the month, then it is not yet on sale. Don’t panic. Just check back in a day or two. 🙂

Mallory

Thank you 🙂

T.Marie

It seems there’s really no cut off in July to miss July so, wait until July 2nd or 3rd when the site shows the July box otherwise I think you’ll get the June box still.

Reply ButtonReply

Mallory

Thank you 🙂

Redhed36

It says on their site which box you will be getting. If you can’t tell by a pic add to cart and it should say which box.

Reply ButtonReply

Mallory

Thank you 🙂

Anne

Spring water spray is the only thing that would be a new discovery, and ai can buy that for less than the cost of the box. I don’t need lippies or more sunscreen right now so, no thank you this month.

Eileen

I like getting facial sunscreen. I wear it all year long.

Reply ButtonReply

T.Marie

As should everyone since the sun ages us even in the Winter! I use to always use sunscreen on my face when I used Murad bc their products come with sunscreen in them. I need to get in the habit of adding that step. Thanks for the reminder!

Reply ButtonReply

nonya

same!

Redhed36

I actually tan so don’t want all this sunscreen. I usually only use it when I am going to be exposed to the rays for more than an hour which LOL doesn’t happen often. The last box offered enough protection for me to last this year and next. Still tempted though.

Reply ButtonReply

T.Marie

I tan too but sun screen is to protect your skin from cancer causing rays that everyone is exposed too. Plus they make you age!!

Reply ButtonReply

Tanya M

Preach on the aging from sun. Being a deep toned Black woman, I never worried about the sun. When I went to dermatologist to have moles removed I asked about the eczema spreading to my face, darker and bumpy texture and large pores. To my surprise it was hyper pigmentation from years of sun. My face is healing the k goodness as I always had great skin and I am religious about sunscreen since last October. Sadly the NIA product left a ashy purple cast to my skin I couldn’t rub in…don’t be like me. It took some years but I paid the price for my ignorance and I thank some of these subs for some of the go to products I now use. Steps down from soapbox.

sandra holloway

Love all the sunscreen we are getting! I am always buying sunscreen and never can have enough.

Reply ButtonReply

Jeri

They sent enough sunscreen last month! Between this sub and a couple others…I have enough sunscreen to supply all of my family and friends, please no more lol

Reply ButtonReply

Sara

Same here. I have a ton of sunscreen from (I admit it) too many sub boxes. I’m indoors almost entirely and won’t need more for years. I’ll pass and look forward to next month. Nicely curated for the season just don’t need it.

Claire

Like you I am at home most of the time but don’t underestimate the power of the sun through the windows. I apply it every day and reapply every two to three hours.
