Wantable Style Edit has been a major player in the subscription styling service market for years now, and I have been really enjoying their plus size styling service! Wantable Style Edit is one of several different subscription boxes offered by Wantable, including Wantable Intimates, Accessories, Fitness, and Makeup.
This box was sent to us at no cost to review (Check out our review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Wantable Style Edit Plus Clothing April 2018 Review
When I signed up for this service, I took a pretty lengthy quiz in which I indicated my price, size and style preferences. I would expect what I receive to be reflective of my tastes, and for these boxes to vary quite a bit from a subscriber to subscriber. There is also a note from my stylist, Miranda. It explains why she chose the items she picked for me.
This is the invoice for the items they sent me this month. On the right, it shows my cost to keep each item. The total comes to $418. If I keep everything, I get 20% off, plus I get my $20 styling fee deducted. That means a potential discount of $103.60. That's a deep discount!
Promenade Top by Kiyonna - Cost to Keep $58
It doesn't really make sense to me, but this top is unflattering. It's a really well-made jersey knit, and I love the draping! It's also black and has an empire waist, which means it should be slimming, but I am not really experiencing that. I usually love Kiyonna, so this is a little disappointing.
Ponte Leggings by DEX - Cost to Keep $50
These are pretty nice basic black Ponte leggings. They are supposed to be slimming, but I don't really think they are. They need more compression! Also, they are a little more relaxed than I think they should be.
Long Sleeve V-Neck Tunic by W. by Wantable - Cost to Keep $58
Wow, I don't mean to seem negative, but this garment is all wrong for me! I like the color and the cotton blend knit fabric, plus it is really soft. Having said that, it's too long, I don't like the cut, and I am not really in the market for long sleeves at this time of year.
Pink Top by W. by Wantable
This top was not listed on my invoice this month, but a different top that was not in my box was listed instead, so I'm not sure how much this top is. This has never happened to me with Wantable before, to be fair. I don't think I want to keep it anyway, though. I don't really like clothing that is the exact same color as my skin, and this is pretty close. I am also not a fan of sleeveless / cap sleeves on myself. It is also too long and basically pretty unflattering. This is a ribbed cotton knit.
Roll Tab Crew Neck Tee by W. by Wantable - Cost to Keep $54
This tee is super soft! Plus, relative to the other pieces in this box, it's pretty cute. But, not cute enough to keep, I don't think. It doesn't fit me very well, unfortunately.
Short Sleeve Striped Boyfriend Tee by Love & Legend - Cost to Keep $32
This tee is surprisingly cute! I am always afraid horizontal stripes are going to be really unflattering, but that's simply not the case here. It is a tad too long, but it's easily remedied (as seen here) by just pulling it up a tad. I think the V-neck is flattering, and the cotton knit is nice and soft and comfortable.
Vegan Leather Moto Jacket by Blank NYC - Cost to Keep $108
This jacket is super cool! It's really well made, and I think it looks good on me, too. I love all the moto detailing. The thing is, it's almost May, in Georgia. Why didn't they send me this in November?
The Verdict: I really love my Wantable Style Edit! Which is why this month's package is almost shocking to me! There was really only one item I might conceivably keep, and I am usually pretty open to keeping most anything I like. I also have never had this problem with the wrong item being listed. I also have never had a month in which they sent me almost entirely basics. To be fair, this is a very different experience than what I have come to expect with Wantable Style, so I can only hope that next month's package is much, much better. I feel like, in terms of cost and value, Wantable sends a good mix of inexpensive and pricier pieces. I also love that they send seven pieces! It's so fun!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Wantable curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!
Value Breakdown: This box cost $20.00 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside was $418.00. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 20% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning Iíd end up spending $314.40 for the whole box. Ultimately, that is a savings of about 25%. The average price per piece is $59.71.
