Sock Panda is a monthly sock subscription service. With each shipment, you'll receive a new selection of quality socks from their own house brand with plenty of eye-catching colors and unique designs.

Sock Panda Women's Sock Subscription

According to the Sock Panda site, this subscription's products are made in a family-run factory in Lima, Peru. Sock Panda is committed to making the world a better place—for every subscription purchased, they donate socks to communities in need. (As of October 2015, they had already donated 50,000 socks!)

Sock Panda offers subscriptions for men, women, tweens, and kids ages 3-8. When you sign up, you'll pick some style preferences (Wild & Crazy, Patterns & Prints, or One of Each) and note whether you'd like to receive one or two pairs per month.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

This review is of the Women's 2-pair "One of Each" subscription ($19 a month).

Sock Panda Women's Monthly Sock Club May 2018 Review

This subscription always comes with two pairs a month; we get one pair of "wild & crazy" and one of "patterns & prints", but you can choose to get one or the other if you prefer.

Sock Composition & Tag

Both pairs are a blend of 85% Peruvian cotton, 10% nylon, and 5% spandex.

Sock Panda Fairy Socks

This is our Wild & Crazy pair this month! You can see that these aren't always super crazy, but they do usually feature more illustrative designs without pattern repeats. They're super unique!

Sock Panda Fairy Socks

This pair features some flowers on the foot, then a pair of garden fairies on the calf.

Although these aren't socks I'm personally apt to show off by pairing with a skirt or dress, I do think the pattern is cute and the colors are great. This is also the first time I've noticed the little "GIVE BACK" phrase on the sole of the foot, too!

Sock Panda Panda Socks

Our patterned pair this month is a little more subtle, with this cranberry colored panda face design!

Sock Panda Panda Socks

These are definitely more my speed, and I am really loving how rich the color is. At first glance, the pattern looks a bit like a minimal cheetah print instead of panda faces.

Sock Panda Panda Socks

Lots of readers have asked for sizing information for these in the past. Sock Panda socks are a little unique because they are much higher than socks I normally get in other subscriptions; they are a true calf-length sock that (depending on your height) will land mid-calf or below the knee. I'm only 5' 0" tall, so they're below the knee on me.

The ribbing at the top is 2" tall unstretched and adds a lot of stability! My calves are about 14.5" circumference, and these fit snugly but comfortably– and they don't fall down throughout the day. I do think they might be a tad tight if you typically need wide calf boots.

The Verdict: This month's Sock Panda delivery was such a charming springtime mix! This is always a playful and fun box to receive, and I'm a big fan of the panda patterned print this month (say that 5 times fast!). Since their socks are designed in-house, they're always totally unique and are loads of fun to show off, too.

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? You might not get this exact set if you place your order today.

Value Breakdown: This subscription cost me $20.00 total for two pairs of socks (price + US shipping), meaning each pair is $10.00. While that is more than a pack of basic black crew socks might run you, for fun & patterned sock subscription boxes, their prices are comparable. Plus, Sock Panda donates socks to those in need for every subscription purchased.

I got these exact same last week as well. The ones I get that I don’t care for go in my ‘gift box’ for when I need something quick and easy.
