Now, on to the items!

Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Face Primer - 3 ml Value $4.80

This primer is a classic I’ve sampled many times before. The formula feels super smooth on my skin and does a great job of temporarily filling in pores so that they look invisible.

Alterna Caviar CC Cream for Hair 10-in-1 Complete Correction - 25 ml Value $8.78

Alterna is one of my all-time favorite haircare lines. Their products are all free from ingredients you may want to avoid (parabens, phthalates, etc.) and the formulas work well and smell amazing, too. This CC Cream is designed to provide “moisture, shine, smoothness, softness, anti-breakage, heat protection, light hold, UV protection, manageability, and strength.”
I can tell a difference in my hair softness and shine when I apply it to damp hair. It’s also great as a finishing product for dry hair to manage frizz and flyaways.

bareminerals Mineral Veil - .75 g Value $2.03

This is a fine powder that goes on sheer and does exactly what you want from a setting powder: it gets rid of shine, and gives you a more airbrushed finish!

Sephora Collection Mud Mask Purifying & Mattifying - .33 oz Value $3.33

This was a great discovery for me! I love the scent (but I might be in the minority looking at some Sephora reviews), and I think the formula is comparable to GlamGlow. It goes on grey, dries to a lighter grey/white, then you remove with water. It left my skin feeling soft, smooth and super clean.

Buxom Lash Mascara - 6 ml Value $12

I've yet to find a Buxom mascara that I didn't love, and this one continues that streak. It's great! The forumla doesn't clump at all, and it provides good volume and length. On the drama scale of 1-10, I'd give this about a 7. It's a little more natural looking than some high-impact mascaras, and it's perfect for everyday use for me.

Atelier Cologne Clementine California - 2 ml? Value $5

Almost every Play! by Sephora box will also include a fragrance sample as the sixth item. This scent has notes of Clementine, Mandarin, Juniper Berries, Star Anise, Sichuan Pepper, Basilica, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Cypress.
I really liked this scent! I don’t wear perfume often, but I’m keeping this vial around for the next time I do!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $35.94. I think that's good for a $10 beauty box, especially since the box will always include high-end brands. The negative for me personally is that I've sampled most of these products before thanks to Sephora and other subscription boxes. (The mask is a welcome new discovery, though!) On the flip side, every item in this box is a win for me!
