Play! By Sephora May 2018 Box #735 FULL SPOILERS!

However said we’d be getting one of the 3 products (KVD, Becca or Benefit) LIED!!! This is my first month and I am SO disappointed! could these samples truly get any smaller? And considering how much air you squeeze out of most of them to even get to your product, why don’t they call it what it is-one time use only. One tiny mascara and that’s the only makeup at all? Ugh.

I’ve received #701, well, really not like this box. I have subscribed from Feb 2018, and box quality seems going down for just a few months. I’m thinking of canceling it. Even though $10 is not a big amount of money, but it’s still money. I feel I’m getting a few small samples and rarely can use them. I’d rather save the $10 from each month and buy a full size Tom Ford product.

Boo getting 701. I’m a Rouge and don’t feel listened-to or appreciated. So sick of black eyeliner- I’m too pale to pull it off- what about brown?? Also- my skin tone is light and last month I got a medium MUFE HD sample- that I can’t use…ended up giving it to my sis who has a bit darker skin. Sick of the drybar dry shampoo, have enough Black Opium already, and meh to the Porefessional.

Sad to say I’m cancelling Sephora Play. It’s just not giving me anything amazing… 🙁

I should be receiving #693 — meh, but I’m always a little meh about my boxes. After all, they’re just $10 worth of random samples. However, can I assume I’m not alone in receiving repeat items? I’ll be getting the Kat Von D liner AGAIN (same shade), and this isn’t the first, second, or third time I’ve received duplicate items. I canceled my Birchbox subscription a couple years ago because I found the brand quality and sample selection to be on the downswing, but at least I never received dupes. I try not to complain about the items and whether or not they seemingly fit my beauty profile, because it’s only $10/mo., but trend in duplicates is making me question if the box is really worth it…

735 is my box. Sorry to be negative, but 735 is one of the worst boxes I’ll be receiving, IMHO. I’ve been a subscriber since the inception of Play! by Sephora 2 years ago (?), and I think I’m giving it only one more month, before I cancel. I truly don’t understand how I keep getting the items I get each month. Rarely is there anything I can or want to use. I’m actually “okay” with getting items I wouldn’t normally use if they are new & upcoming or classic/iconic because I can pass them on to a friend or co-worker, but most of the items I get are things I would be embarrassed to pass on to someone else. I understand Play is only $10 a month, but if I throw out 99% of the items, there’s no point in subscribing at any cost.

I am getting 693 but would love to swap for 768 full box. Will list when recieved.

So i still have not gotten my April bag…..This is suppose to be my first bag. I also dont see a charge for it…i see a paypal authorization for play but nothing else. Is this normal? The site shows the items I am suppose to be getting but no shipping info at all or that i have any orders.

I went in To see what my number was , I took a fast look online on Monday it was 776. So today I looked at the boxes on MSA, But couldn’t remember my box number. So I went back and it was number 776. But underneath it it said out of stock. Has anybody ever seen that or any other 776 servers out there? And I don’t understand either why some boxes have none of the spoilers while somehow three. I don’t think any of these are right. I would love to get like Some different items. I would love to get a Buxom lip pencil or newest products . They could’ve called it Sephora’s newest products this month.

I’ve never had a box not be in one of the early spoilers and the one box with NONE of the 3 sneak peaks has me worried.

My box is #733 – anyone else with that? I swear if I get another Porefessional I am cancelling.

Sephora, I hope you’re listening, if not they need to read through some comments on sephora play articles here on MSA. They could make this box so much more successful if they would put in a little effort. I unsubscribed about 2 months ago and keep checking if a return is worth it and it’s not for me personally yet. But will keep watching spoilers

Well! This box was the final straw for me. Sephora play, its been a pleasure but cancelled!

They are forver giving that primer 😂😂. So glad i left this sub box. I was just checking to see if i was missing anything , and nope!

I’m getting box 701. This is only my second box so no problem with repeats yet. I only use travel mascaras (because I seem to get a lot with GWPs and boxes) and I’m also excited for the dry shampoo. My teen wants to eye liner so win for me.

All I really wanted was the Devacurl, and of course I didn’t receive it. I already have everything in my box (#693) except for the Bumble & Bumble and the Sephora mud mask. Darn it I really, REALLY wanted that Devacurl hair stuff. ☹️

I still don’t understand why box 768 gets none of the spoilers, and box 693 gets all 3. It just seems really wrong to do that to subscribers.

I signed up for Play last week. Will it take a while before I can see which box number I’m getting in my account?

The instructions for finding your box number above don’t match up with what I see in my browser. (It says to go to Account > Account Details > Online Orders, but I see Account and then have options for Recent Orders and also Subscriptions, none of which show a box number.)

🙁 So SAD! All I wanted this month was the Becca highlighter & I’m going to end up with possibly nothing useable in 735.

If anyone wants to swap the Becca highlighter for the Sephora Mask, the KVD Tattoo liner, and/or the Bumble & Bumble Hair Thickener, please hit me up. :+1:
