Good Being Box Subscription Review – March 2018

Good Being box is a natural and organic beauty box. Each month you'll receive a box customized to your beauty profile. (This is a box that will have some variation between subscribers.)

There are now two different categories of Good Beings Box: Beauty or Lifestyle. (Lifestyle will include a mix of beauty and non-beauty items.)

And for each category, you can get the standard subscriptio, or the mini!

You also get to pick two of your products each month for the Standard subscription.

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Subscription Box: Good Being Box (Lifestyle Standard)

The Cost: $24.95 a month for the Beauty or Lifestyle Standard Box, $9.95 for Beauty or Lifestyle Mini

The Products: Eco-friendly beauty and wellness products.

Ships to: US only.

Check out my Good Being reviews and the Eco-friendly Subscription Box Directory for similar boxes!

Every box comes with cards detailing each product.

Now, on to the items!

Bellapierre Mineral Foundation in Cinnamon - 4 g Value $28.89

I picked this item - and I made the right call on the shade, it's perfect for me! The coverage is great (you can build it up if needed), it helps mattify my skin a bit, and I love that it has a built-in SPF 15 as well!

Here it is swatched:

Shea Radiance Women's Gold Anti-Oxidant Body Cream - 50 ml Value $11.11

I believe this was my other choice item. (I always forget what I picked!)

This is a decadent cream, scented with essential oils: Lavender, Lemon, Sweet Orange, Peppermint, Sweet Basil, Eucalyptus & Ginger Root. I love the natural scent blend, and the cream manages to be rich but absorb quickly - I love it!

Bonnie Multi-Vitamin Facial Serum - .25 oz Value $4.50

This serum is designed to improve skin’s tone, texture, and firmness. It's a light oil, has a lovely natural scent, and is gentle on my skin.

Art Naturals Skin Care Black Peel Off Mask - FULL SIZE! Retail Value $13

I love a good peel off mask! This one took about 30 minutes to completely dry, and then I was able to easily peel it off.

It's formulated to "purge clogged pores of blackheads, absorb excess oil, remove bacteria, dirt, and makeup." My skin felt smoother and cleaner after removing it, but this isn't on par with removing blackheads like Biore pore strips. (I have yet to find anything to match my favorite pore strips!)

Bedrock Balm - Sample

This is an "SOS" balm for skin that needs to be soothed. It is a rich cream that goes on white (and takes a while to fully rub in), and it has a fab lavender scent.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $57.50. That's great for a $24.95 natural beauty box, especially when you consider that Good Being lets you pick two of your items every month. Getting to pick your foundation color is awesome! And I love the other skincare products, too.

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? I believe your first box will be the May box.

What do you think of the March Good Being Box? Which products did you pick this month?

Goodbeing is my absolute favorite box. I love how everything is natural/non-toxic, and they always seem to match me up with stuff that is great for my needs. I really appreciate how in-depth their beauty profile is — no other box I’ve had even comes close to that level of detail.

My box had a significantly higher value. I think around $80? I got the Bonnie serum for acne and I think it might become my HD. It works great under makeup and made improvement in my skin tone.

I also got the Bonnie blemish serum and really enjoyed it.

I always take a screen shot of my choices or I wouldn’t remember either! I did not get any of the same. My choices for March were the Pure Anada mascara and the Eco Armour Bergamot and Grapefruit shaving cream.

Note Grapefruit and Bergamot are my two favorite scents in the world and the scent of the shave cream is a complete miss for me!

I got a similar box. It was mostly a miss for me, since I wasn’t excited about any of the “choice” items. The peel-off mask was made in China with some questionable ingredients so I’m not as excited as Liz about it.

I’m the exact same way in that I always forget what I pick each month because my box is usually filled with things I’d love to try… so I figure I could have picked any of them! haha

Btw Liz, I think it would hurt the face soooo much if there ever was a peel off mask that worked like a Biore strip. I’m probably sensitive though… the nose I can handle, even the forehead with the face strips, but the chin… Ouch! I’m crying for the 30 seconds it takes me to get that sucker off. lol
