Simply out of curiosity, has anyone ever gotten a “gift”’ in the mail from Allure? I did finally make a phone call regarding not getting shipping emails and not being too happy with never getting an email response. Not to mention, a little of subscribers are not happy with the variation in boxes. That was over a month ago. I was told they were going to send me a past box or the best of beauty box or something as a gift for my troubles. I didn’t ask for that, it was simply offered. I’ve been subscribed for over a year and still don’t get shipping emails. I still haven’t gotten anything…

I would make sure your email is updated on your allure box profile from when you signed up. I get emails every month when they ship. It does vary it could be anytime in the month. Same with billing it’s never a set date but usually always by the 15th. They have never emailed me back when I had q few hiccups but they have a 1800 # and they were great and addressed my issue. Allure is my absolute fav. Box out of all of them, hope you get things cleared up because it is so worth it!

I received a gift from them recently – Paula’s Choice serum and another item (I forget what), the ones they emailed us about, just for being a subscriber. Also, I emailed them about an account issue and they fixed it, even though it wasn’t easy to identify (I had two subscriptions under one account which should not be possible).

I have gotten random gifts twice. Once it was an aerin rose perfume collection worth $50 and once it wash grand e mascara and primer. However it usually takes weeks if not months before you get them

I gave up Boxy charm for this sub for a few months when do they ship ?

So is it the OG Lolita liner for all subscribers or still one of three colors (and OGLolita is one)?
Reply
KW
Yea! Lip liners seem to be the item I never get in boxes. I wish boxes would send out more lip liners instead of the 1001 black eyeliners. Lip liners in any color would be good, cause a lot of us have a variety lipstick colors.

I definitely agree, I have so many eyeliners and mascaras, 4t hat I dont know what to do with them. I gave some away and accumulated a bunch more. The only reason I have so many lip liners is because i was subscribed to lip monthly and got a few from my early allure, ipst and birchbox… but not enough

My niece is looking forward to the Kat Von D eyeliner and the rest. I’ll keep the scrub. Sometimes what I get in a sub is just perfect for someone else.

I hope I get the darker lippies. I won’t wear the lolita color and the nude ish ones. I guess we shall see.

Please no black eyeliner, please no black eyeliner…

Oh, God, ANOTHER Kat Von D liquid liner?
I’m already getting one in my Play! box if the ++++ thing ever ships.

Agree 😐 Pretty Vulgar in boxy, kat VonD in Sephora AND this one. Alllll Black. Not even a brown?! 🤦🏻♀️ I’m like please stop! There have to be some other options 😅

Remeber when you were a kid and didn’t like the food on your plate and you’re mom would say that there were children starving in some other country?
You complain about too many Tattoo liners while there are suffering Play subscribers who go without.
Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. KVD makes me want to try this box out.

Good one!
I feel the same way about people complaining about receiving only red lipstick, when I get none.
Olivia
Loveeeee that lip liner. I have both the Lolita lippies so I would be so happy to get the liner! And ohhhh that Sunday Riley oil is so awesome. All their products are. Great value in these boxes.

When is the cut off for May? I want my first box to be the June box. Thanks for any help!
Reply
Jamie
I emailed them and they said to sub on June 1st for the June box.
Reply
Maria
The email they sent said June 2nd. So I’m guessing June is the answer.
Rachael
I was just about to write in, I called them and the lady told me to sub on or after the 9th?? Seems late to me. I think I’ll go with the info you got!
Jen
Nice. Love those scrubs, and I haven’t tried the KVD liners, so excited to get one.

I am a Lolita II devotee, but still excited about this spoiler. If we get everything pictured I will be thrilled.

I’m going to try to cancel. I didn’t see hardly anything from this month’s box that I’ll use and hardly anything from next month’s either (except the scrub). Wish me luck in canceling!

Canceling isn’t even that hard.
Idk why people say it’s the hardest thing ever.
I’ve cancelled 3 times when I didn’t like the box & have never had a single issue.

I actually just called to cancel the other day before my first box processed- somebody called Nick “cancelled” it for me and said I would receive a refund. I called back 2 days later changing my mind and the woman said it was never cancelled and still said “Active”.
Great for me since I changed my mind, but not so great if it had been anyone else.
magoosmom
The last time I’ve canceled, there was a button and all I had to do was hit that. Now I can’t find it and it says to email. So I did. Surprise! No response today. I’ll call if I have to, but hoping they will just cancel it already.

Most people seem excited about June, but I am not. The only thing I’ll use is the walnut scrub. I don’t use lip products or liquid eyeliner… At least the scrub is full size, but I can’t say if it’s actually worth (to me) the cost of the box. Can you skip month’s in Allure?

Beccah
You can also sell any of the kvd items on eBay for quite alot. I just sold the saint & Sinner perfume minis for $25!

Chantel
You can sell or trade the Sunday Riley oil, people love Sunday Riley! I don’t use lip liner so may will have some items I don’t like but June and July look great!

Brookenoelle424
Yes! I called and had them skip May since I wasn’t really see much I would use.

Redhed36
Thanks! I’ll have to do that

Is this a variant?
Reply
Helen
I think the only variants are the lip colors. We’ve had these spoilers for months & those are the only items allure ever showed, so I feel like this box will be pretty much the same for everyone.
But who knows tbh

I’m looking forward to this box so far, I’ve been really happy with the Kat von d makeup I have tried so far, and I think that Lolita color is one of her more popular ones too.

Although I don’t fvor anything Kat Von D is attached to, the items look really good and the fact that we will be getting more Sunday Riley in July makes me quiver.
Please, please, please Allure…no more from Kat Von D or I just may have to cancel my subscription.

Jess
I disagree. I LOVE the Kat Von D featured. Allure, you rock.

A lot of people are excited the inclusion of KVD products. There are lots of brands that aren’t my favorites that are featured in beauty boxes. I try them now if they’re included in a box I get. I’ve found products I might’ve overlooked that I love by trying new things this way. If not you can always donate it gift it. I donate makeup to a local animal rescue group that raffles baskets for money.
This isn’t the first time KVD products have been included in Allure’s box and it probably won’t be the last box.

Thanks Anna, but it’s not just a brand issue, the problem I have is with the person herself. Let’s just say that her view of ‘history’ is the focus of which I object (I’m being polite). It’s not an issue with the quality or color of the products…I simply object to giving any money/attention to someone who so blithely flirts with dignity.

Yes! Looks great so far! Just heard that Kat Von D is expecting!:)

I might have to switch to allure from cult crushes since it has gone up to $14. These spoilers look far better than the one we just got to see for the May box.

This looks pretty great so far! I’m not actually a Kat Von D fan, but that color looks very practical and versatile.
I am crossing my fingers for full sized products in the July box, too, particularly the Derma-E and Sunday Riley.

Has anyone tried this Ol Henry scrub? Is it similar to the St Eves peach walnut scrub that got a bad rap years ago for being too abrasive?
Reply
JennWin1980
Also- Ole Henriksen is my favorite non professional line (not sold in spas.) Hos products are phenomenal!!!
Reply
JennWin1980
It is the complete opposite of St. Ives. This scrub is creamy and gentle. I recommend it to my clients who
Want something less expensive than what we use at the spa I work at! Plus, it smells sooo yummy!!!

Oh wow Allure has stepped up their game big time!
