This box comes with an info card detailing each of the items included.

Now, on to the items!

SOPHi Nail Polish in ROME-Ance Me – Retail Value $7.99

This nail polish is toxic-free – and that means no nail polish smell! I really love the coral shade, too. Here it is on:

I also used the top coat and primer duo included in this box:

SOPHi Prime + Shine + Seal System – Retail Value $14.99

To use this system, first, you paint a coat of primer.

Then apply thin coats of the nail polish color. (They recommend drying your nails with a blow dryer.)

Then add the shine topcoat. (Blow-dry again.)

And the last step is one more thin coat of primer to seal your nails. This method allows the nail polish to wear like regular nail polish.

I followed the instructions (minus the blow dryer) and I’m happy with the results so far. In fact, I just ordered a few additional shades of SOPHi nail polish since I now have the prime + shine system!

Piggy Paint Nail Polish Remover – Retail Value $7.99

This nail polish remover is from the kid-friendly sister brand to SOPHi. It’s acetone free and works on all nail polish, but is best for the SOPHi/Piggypaint formulas.

Baudelaire Sisal Wash Cloth – Retail Value $7.50

This cloth is made from 100% renewable sisal fiber and measures 12 by 11 inches.

The texture of the cloth is perfect for adding a very gentle exfoliation to your cleansing routine.

(It’s also OK to machine wash and dry!)

Ad Astra Apothecary Bath Bomb – Value Listed $6

The one downside to this product is that I can’t find anything about the company that makes it online. The website that Terra Bella Box lists on the card doesn’t work, and my google attempts have failed as well. (And it seems like the website hasn’t been working since at least September.)

The bath bomb is made with phthalate-free fragrance, and the scent is powdery and fresh. (I don’t mind it – I just never would have guessed lavender or lime!)

And as a bonus, Terra Bella included a card for 25 square prints from Parabo. They print quality is great, too. (We love their subscription box!)

Verdict: This box has a value of about $44.97 That’s pretty good for a $32.95 natural beauty box that works with smaller brands and etsy makers. I personally loved getting all these non-toxic nail polish goodies, but if nail polish isn’t your thing, this box would definitely be a miss.

To Wrap Up:

  1. I put the nail polish on a day or two after having received it, because I thought it was the perfect Spring color, and it was beautiful(!), but I didn’t use the full 3-step system, but rather my normal base & top coat, and that was a big mistake.. big, huge! So for anyone who got this box, and is planning on keeping the nail polish, make sure to use it with the other products provided! First of all, the polish seemed thinner than a typical polish, but applied well enough. My nails looked beautiful, but only until the next morning when I washed my hair, and the polish on one of my nails came completely off in a solid “sheet”, then it was downhill from there. By the next day I was left with only 3.5 nails with polish still on them. I’d look at my nails randomly throughout the two days after I polished them, and miraculously another whole nail would be plain because the polish literally would just fall off in a single sheet. ha!

  2. Hi Liz,

What happened to,Wal-Marts beauty subscription boxes?

    I never received mine.

    Thank you,

    Nance Rogers

    • You’re probably better off emailing walmart yourself. Or search the blog/forum, you’ll find some answers that way. Long story short, they were “delayed” over and over again and there are still people waiting for the winter box.

  3. Liz, you always have such beautiful nails! I love the length, shape choice, and even your color choices lol. I think it’s been said before, but you really could be a hand model!
