Now, onto the items!
Teri Miyahira “Excite” Eyeshadow – Retail Value $28
This is a shimmery peach eyeshadow – super pigmented, too. And it could double as a blush if it’s not a good eyeshadow color for you.
Teri Miyahira “Reborn” Cream Illuminator Pot – Retail Value $38
This illuminator is creamy, super easy to blend, and provides a gorgeous gold dewy finish. Here it is swatched above the eyeshadow:
The cream pot can work for eye looks, or blended out for a highlight, too.
Magical Vegan Rose Gold Makeup Brush – Value $18-$36 range
(The card lists assorted brushes with prices, so I’m not sure what the retail price is for this one.)
This is an angled buffer/contour brush with soft, densely packed bristles.
And I’m always down to add more pretty makeup brushes to my collection!
Verdict: This box has a suggested retail value of about $84 if you use the lowest value for the makeup brush. I think that’s a good value for the quality of makeup you get with this subscription. (If you’ve tried making the transition from regular makeup to natural makeup, you may have found that a lot of products just don’t hold up perfectly. With these formulas, that isn’t the case at all. In a blind test, I would never have guessed they were ingredient-conscious.)
The retail prices for Teri Miyahira are on the higher end of the makeup spectrum, but the formulas are amazing, and I think they are totally worth it if you want high-quality ingredient conscious makeup.
My biggest warning for this subscription is that it isn’t customizable, so you could end up with colors that don’t work for you. If you’re thinking of subscribing, I’d recommend doing a 6-month or 12-month subscription to bring the cost way down ($35 a month with an annual subscription).
