Pennie Post April 2018 Review
Each month there's a theme and you'll receive cards and a paper accessory that goes along with it. April is "Pretty Petals".
Ink and Watercolor Mother's Day Card
Well, it looks like I am covered for a Mother's Day card this year! This floral ink drawing has a watercolor treatment with pinks and purples to make the "Happy Mother's Day" message on the front pop. The inside is blank and it comes with a kraft paper envelope. Classy!
Dinosaur Happy Birthday Card
In case there is a dino-lover in your life who has a birthday coming up, this pastel-hued card filled various patterned dinosaurs has got you. I love the minty, pale pink, and soft tangerine hues on this one. Plus it's just so cute. This one is also blank with a kraft paper envelope.
Watercolor Notecards x 2
Lastly is a set of two notecards with cream envelopes. Each one has a pink watercolor wash across the front that keeps it simple and pretty. The other side is blank for you to write a short message to the receiver. These are perfect thank you cards or notes to include with a gift!
Japanese Chiyogami Paper Stickers
The paper accessory this month is really special! I got a collection of eight various patterned paper stickers that are really colorful and have metallic gold ink as well. Six are in a flower shape and two are simple round dots. These would be beautiful on the outside of the watercolor notecards to seal the envelope, or to decorate the outside of the kraft paper envelopes.
Verdict: This month's Pennie Post was quite elegant and simple with a fun dino card slipped into the mix as well. I love the watercolor on 3 of the cards and the stickers are really quite beautiful!
