Each box comes with a card listing out the items included.

Now, on to the items!

Medusa's Makeup Lipstick in Rose - Retail Value $12

The formula itself is creamy, with great pigment, and a satin finish. The color, though? This lilac shade reads as grey on my lips - not a good look! (Swatched in lower photo.)

Medusa's Makeup Tropical Matte Eyeshadow in Kokomo - Retail Value $9

Their matte eyeshadow formulas are new to me, so I was excited to try this (even though the color is way out of my comfort zone).

This is a nearly neon yellow color. Again, I'm impressed with the pigment and the formula in general, but to be honest, I'm not sure if I'll ever wear this shade.

Here it is swatched beneath the lipstick:

Medusa's Makeup Cotton Candy Lip Scrub  - Retail Value $10

More neon colors! This lip scrub did leave my lips pink (but the color was easy to wash off). I'm not sure if it tasted like cotton candy (it's been way too long since I've had some) but it was sweet!

Medusa's Makeup Eye Shadow Brush  - Retail Value $8

This eye shadow brush is made with synthetic, vegan bristles.

(One thing to note – I could only find this available on their site as part of a 4-piece set for $18, so the $9 retail value comes from their included card.)

Verdict: This box has a value of $39. I think that's great for a $15.95 beauty box that sends full-size vegan beauty products with free shipping. The April box was a miss for me this month because of the colors, but I expect that with this subscription

This is a great way to try out Medusa's Make-Up at a deep discount. And if you are intimidated by some of the colors on the Medusa's Make-Up site like I am, this is a perfect way to them out!

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? All orders are generally processed within 1-3 business days. You will receive the box month that you sign up in.

I just watched serina Amadee’s new video on YouTube last night and she did a beautiful spring yellow eyelid that looked like something my neutral loving self could actually wear! Check it out for some inspiration!
I’m dying to try this box, but having a hard time pulling the trigger because I know it will take me way out of my comfort zone with makeup.

I used to wonder about those lilac-grey and outright grey shades that a lot of companies make, but I’ve seen it look fabulous on people with medium to dark skin. It also looks cool as part of a pastel goth kind of look. Wearing a lip topper is a great idea! I have several because I love all the holographic / glittery / etc but I often forget to try them.

Liz – yellow pairs beautifully with grays, and you could mix in some white to soften it up. The pigmentation on that looks fantastic!

Thanks for the tip – grays, I can handle! 🙂

That lipstick color would look perfect on zombies.

But the brush looks fabulous!

This looks like such a fun box. I’m not sure exactly who that lip color would look good on but maybe it could be used repurposed as a blush or highlighter?
However the eye shadow looks really fun and I’m sure you will find a way to pull it off.
I also love that the items are cruelty free. Adding this to my watch list. 🙂

Liz, I found the lipstick shade not good on me either. It is nice and smooth and creamy. I wonder what could make it look better? A gloss on top?

Does this box have crazy colors like this all the time???

I love the Cargo Cosmetics gloss in “Sahara” as a topper. Gorgeous!

I’ve heard good things about the Too Faced Unicorn Tears as a lip topper – maybe that would work?
