These people lied to me 3 times, gave me false tracking info. I cancelled.

This is seriously not a good company to do bussiness with. They lie and the ingored. I still haven’t got my box and the tracking info was bogus and about to file a dispute with my credit card.

I don’t know what’s going on with this box, but their workers lie.

I signed up March 27th. They took the money out right away and then it got deposited back into my account. (I emailed and asked why because you know the start of the first boxes are kind of hetic) was told they were sold out and I’d get next month.

So this month I’ve had no emails or anything from them. I email 2 weeks ago asking what was going on since what happened in March, and when was my first box coming. Then the person claimed that they didn’t take my money and put it back in March, (they did but I got it back, oh well, but no need to lie) then said I would get tracking and it would ship that thursday…..well nothing. I look into my account and now there is a tracking number in my account area, but the label hasnt been made etc. So I wait another week and that tracking does not update, move etc.

I email again and get the tracking number sent to me after unexplained everything and how the tracking has not moved. NO RESPONSE. So it’s a few days later and I look in my account tracking and now it’s saying that number is “not a good tracking number ” I copy it and plug it into the USPS tracking site and get the same exact thing. So tonight I sent another email.

Can anybody that gets this box tell me if this is normal for this company?!?! They have lied and then not responded and it’s almost into May and I’m about to cancel because it says it auto renews April 30th and why pay again when I haven’t recieved the first one, been lied too and not responding.

Okay, it’s sorted out now. I have my box. I went ahead and cancelled and will watch in the next few months to see what kind of things they offer and see if I want to subscribe.

Once you sub, there is no communication or anything. I subbed end of March, they took money out right away, then didn’t send a box, my money was right back in, and then I was charged again a few days later for April’s box.

I emailed because we all know that first month of subbing to a new box figuring it out to get into the groove takes a month or so, but I got a faq back in email, which I had read and emailed again explaining that it did not address the issue.

When would my sub start
The tracking link in my account on their site said pre label for 3 weeks, and had no clue what was even going on.

Then I get a snarky email back telling me my box would be SHIPPED the next day (thursday) and gave me tracking number. I waited a week and the tracking still said pre label and no updates in my account. So I wait another week , and now when I went to the USPS tracking bar , and copied and pasted the numbers, it said the tracking was not a good number and to contact shipper. I had not heard back since the snarky reply a week before, so I went ahead and cancelled, and emailed. They got really rude and snarky.

Thankfully my box showed up the next day, and everything was as shown and as expected. I have cancelled. I have looked on YouTube and other sites of people having these same issues and they say shipping keeps getting later and later. I don’t really track my boxes, but when you sign up on month, and money is taken out, you would Think they would send you a “welcome to the couuminty ” or even a ” you signed up this month and boxes are sold out, so your subscription will start next month” type of contact.

But no…they send nothing. No communication etc. I just wanted to let everyone know my experience and come back and let everyone know I did get my box, and it was as shown and expected. They need to have better communications both ways. Sorry so long posting…just wanted everyone to know my experience and follow up.

I like the mix of skin care and makeup. I have a DIL who will love the palette in her mother’s day bag. This will be my first box with them and I’m excited to try it.

Will be excited to try out everything but the pink lipstick that is totally not my color!!! I would love some red and berry colored lips…all in all looks like a great first box for me with them!!

I was intrigued by this until I saw a Be A Bombshell product… If they steer clear of the brand in the future, I will most likely consider it. I have not been impressed with the quality of their products that I’ve received over the years unfortunately.

I’m really liking the looks of this box. I checked the reviews on all of the products. All legit. I have been eyeing the palette, love the colors. I haven’t used a cream blush in years but I love the color of this one. The lipstick color is perfect for me. I really need some restraint or some extra cash right now. I’m probably going to get it.

This is tempting. I’m starting to think about transitioning away from the sample sized boxes and subbing to these full sized item boxes instead. Can anyone tell me if this box is really “personalized” and how so?

Frances, Luna is correct, there is no personalization. This will be my third box and I really like it. I believe there is no variations either, everybody gets same thing. I like this box because they include brands that you normally dont see in other boxes.

I could totally be wrong because I’m a newbie to this box (I have only received two so far, but I have been following this box since MSA started reviewing it), but I don’t think there’s any personalization to the box, as I can’t recall anyone ever commenting about being able to pick a color or having a profile matched. I hope someone will correct me if I’m wrong though!

Those are some very nice, usable colors in the palette! The eyeliner is way too thick though, and the lipstick is not quite my color (although I have to admit it’s very “spring”).

Still considering this box for the the palette and the cleanser, though…

I felt that way about Glossybox. I signed up when they offered the 3 month deal last Fall. I thought the presentation and packaging were beautiful but never liked any of the brands or items they sent enough to stay with them.

I don’t think they do, but you can save by signing up for longer subscription, like 3 months, 6 moths and 12 months.
