We have a spoiler for the April 2018 Emma & Chloe box!

The featured designer this month is Constance Lepage.

Based in Lille, Constance Lepage has been creating her jewelry collections since 2011, freshly graduated from Olivier de Serres School of Applied Arts.
Brass chains, fine stones and colored cottons mix and match with each other's imagination. Initially intended for architecture, she lets her inspirations fly in many journeys to create feminine and timeless pieces.

More from Emma & Chloe:

1 / CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY AND YOUR START IN THE JEWELRY INDUSTRY?
I started making jewelry as a child at a very young age, it was one of my favorite hobbies. I arrived in this world quite randomly though, I was more into architecture and visual communication at ffirst. I started selling my jewelry at some shops in Lille, in the north of France, to make a little money and luckily for me - it quickly grew.
2/ HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOUR UNIVERSE?
I have a very feminine yet simple universe, without frills. I like elegant and discreet jewels that can be accumulated according to your desires.
3 / WHAT DO YOU LIKE THE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB TODAY?
I like the freedom I have. I only create jewels that I like and that I want to wear everyday. I also like the challenge of having a small business, it's very exciting even though it's a lot of work.
4 / WHAT IS YOUR LAST COLLECTION CALLED? WHERE DOES ITS NAME COME FROM?

I work in small collections, I can produce about 4 or 5 a year. The last collection is called "Malo" in reference to Saint-Malo because it is inspired by forms of shells.

5 / WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DESIGN STAGE WHEN CREATING YOUR COLLECTIONS?

I love to receive the prototypes that I laser cut or chemically created by the Parisian studio with whom I work. Moving from 2D to 3D is always a little magical!

I thought I’d report back to those interested. Since I got an email yesterday from Elodie welcoming me as a new subscriber, I asked where the jewelry is made. She answered the jewelry is “designed in Paris, handmade in China.”

Thank you for confirming!

I signed up last month and received my bracelet quick with no issues. Cancelling was easy as well. Although that was just my one experience. I’m thinking about signing up but I want to know what jewelry piece will be given out this month first.

FYI, I just got my piece today. It’s a necklace that looks like the sliver moon style in the picture above. Long chain. The shape hangs like a smile would. I like it. I get silver and mine was silver with white triangle pattern.

Emma and Chloe’s customer service can be unreliable. But they have always made it right for me when mistakes occurred. And I love many of the pieces. I think it’s worth it overall (though perhaps not for a gift subscription, unless your recipient is also willing to navigate customer service issues).

I wasn’t planning to, but with the MSA coupon, I went for it for only ten bucks. I hope it’s not a mistake… designer jewelry from France but made in China and some issues with shipping? Apparently I’m willing to risk it.

I don’t think the jewelry comes from China. It is supposed to be from French designers. I have always been pretty happy with this subscription. I get compliments on the pieces I wear. I love the uniqueness of the jewelry.

Where does it say, Made in China? All my pieces I’ve ordered came straight from Paris and I have the packaging to prove it. As I love that it came from France. And I’ve never had customer service issues. The only issue I have is with customs opening my box and not securing it after opening as my jewelry can just fall out as it’s barely secure when I receive it but the jewelry has always been intact. Maybe the box is made in China but not the jewelry.
Customer service is Elodie and she is the best! She will make it right. I love this sub.

I received a replacement ring as it tarnished, as all the rings did. The replacement ring was not packaged in the Emma and Chloe Box. It arrived in a plastic bag marked made in China. I cannot justify paying $35 a month when the quality of the pieces is so poor. I love the designs / concept, but I was very disappointed with the quality. The designs may be from France, but it appears they are not manufactured there. Ask Emma and Chloe. They can confirm.

Does the jewelry come straight from France? On my billing statement it says “Emma&Chloe TampaFL”.

I read MSA’S last few reviews on this sub and a couple of people commented on the cheap quality of pieces and that they were made in China, but I hope you’re right. I’m so glad you enjoy it.
