Birchbox April 2018 Box Reveals Are Up!

Sooo not impressed with my birch this month! Even though I am getting 7 products?

4 are hair products, shampoo, conditioner, serum all by minu, one is Orbie dry shampoo which i recieved within my last 4 boxes and barely used it. Do not like the smell at all!

Other two are lip product. And only one I might be okay with.

Only thing I am happy with is the coola which I picked. Ugh.

This is only my third Birchbox, and I’m really happy with this one. The first two each contained at least one product that I really liked (Sunday Riley, I’m talking to you), but I either already use or am excited to try everything in this one.

I was so nervous for a terrible box after some of the spoilers. I am sincerely Not interested in deodorant. But my box is pretty great. I picked the Oribe product, but I’m also getting the Coola primer. Plus a lipstick queen lip liner (snooze), but a Derma e night cream and a Ouai volume spray.

I got an email from Cath Kidston and saw they were doing the featured Birchbox this month. I would have totally re subscribed if that were the case. Must only be for England, boooooo 🙁

I just looked on the app again (I don’t know why) and noticed that it says I’ve already reviewed three of the items I’m getting. And I’ve given them all five stars. Two of the products I’ve never heard of and the other is the black eyeliner. I can GUARANTEE that I have not given any black eyeliners better than a one star since my first month. This settles it; once I receive this box I am canceling BirchBox.
It’s bad enough I want able to pick a sample this month, but to have them mark items as positive reviews. Nope, I’m done!

Ugh i guess they really don’t listen to reviews and your profile…my box is:

* Smashbox always on gel liner (i already got this once before)
* MDSolarScience Mineral Creme SPF 50 (even tho I should, I do not use this type of product… I’ll use this to protect my tattoos on my arms in the summer)
* OUAI Volume Spray (love the brand but already received this too, smells great lol)
* Marcelle BB Cream Golden Glow (i got the Marcelle CC cream from Birchbox before and it was horrible for my skin… just made it more oily)

* my sample choice is the Oribe Mousse

* it looks like I’m getting a bonus? RMS Makeup Remover Wipes (it’s probably just one lol)

Compared to the horrendous boxes I’ve been getting the last few months, this one isn’t so terrible… it seems like they always throw in a black eyeliner with everyone and it’s ridiculous.. enough already! And why 2 hair products?? I do love the brands but I already chose the plumping mousse so why add another product that claims it adds volume?!? There are so many samples they are offering this month – a little variety woulda been nice.

I’ll review these and change my profile once again.. if that doesn’t help next month.. then I’m done lol I’m looking forward to my add-ons more then the box itself

Yet another liquid black eyeliner. I swear I get so many I could supply the eyeliner for Broadway’s Cats. At least I got the Vasanti Brighten Up, been wanting to try that.

*sigh* I’m getting another black eyeliner and not getting the deodorant. I’ve really been wanting to try the Schmidt deodorant. I am SOOOOOOO TIRED of getting black eyeliner. I have enough to last years and I’ve only been getting sub boxes for a few months. I’ve already canceled Ipsy and Allure. It may be time to let go of BirchBox too.

The reveal should work for everyone if you follow these steps on the App (only!):

1. Open Birchbox app on iOS or Android

2. Select Boxes

3. By default, it will display “Showing all boxes”, click the dropdown and select “All Samples”

4. You will see your 5 samples for the current month.

Not a bad box this month. I picked the mascara and opted out of a fragrance. I also got the deodorant, Number 4 Smoothing Balm, Adesse New York Butter Lip Balm, and Bioderma Eye Contour Gel.
Just a heads up on the app, I had to go to all samples to see my reveal.

Did anyone get to pick the item they wanted this month? The app wasn’t working all weekend and now it says they are preparing my box. I particularly wanted to get the schmidt deodorant and now I can’t pick. NOT happy!!
