Now I’m hoping for some eye cream, I’ve been out a while but I know as soon as I buy some I’ll get full sized ones in my boxes.. c’mon eye cream!
… some setting powder and/Or spray would be good too, I’m getting low.

I bought last month’s Glossybox just for eye cream and got a couple of other nice items. Setting powder/spray would be great! Here adding to that vibration.

No, that was the vacuum cleanser mask, from the same line. This is a makeup primer! Totally different product, just from the same pore minimizing line.

I’ll give it a go! That’s what the boxes are all about – trying new things. I like Dr. Brandt product, so I’m happy with this! Generally though, illuminating pores, is not a good thing, at least for me.

I have this sitting in my bathroom from Boxycharm I believe, generally I love Dr. Brandts but not overly impressed with this. It gives my face a very dry tight feeling.

Tara, I did some online research and am waiting to hear back from DB CS but from research & my sister this brand works for people who prefer matte IF that is your issue. I can not use illuminating setting sprays in most brands because of my oily T zone.

If you log in, you can cancel online. Go to the bottom of the list to see your active subs. They don’t have a waitlist so it’s ok to cancel and just renew if you want the box. I just cancelled both of my April Beautyfix subs. I can renew if I like the spoilers.

For anyone who has used this: Can this be used alone (without foundation on it)? Would it look funny? Sometimes I just want to even out my skin and not layer a lot of products. Thanks for any input.

I’ve used it on it’s own several times. The tint is light and coverage minimal. I was surprised how well it evened out my skin. Fair-Med skin. Hope this helps!

agree with other comments, it is nice on its own. It’s my favorite primer under foundation, but on no makeup days, it just gives a healthy glow, really subtle. Sometimes I just mix it together with some foundation for lighter coverage

I’m going try that! Maybe mixing the primer and foundation is the key to smooth long lasting finish?

I don’t use foundation and I love this. It creates a nice finish, but it’s not heavy or anything. I got compliments, that I looked “radiant” after I started using it. I put it on after my moisturizer. and on days my skin is particularly red, I dot a little Purlisse B&B cream over it.

Yeah, it blends in well, so I think you could skip the foundation if you’re lucky enough to have great skin. I would skip the foundation if I could!

Even though I received it in boxy, I am SO glad to get this again because I was seriously thinking about actually buying it when it ran out. I have used a lot of the top rated primers and this is really good for blurring out some acne scars I have. I really noticed that difference when I put the same foundation on without the primer yesterday versus today.
Highly recommend.

i’m REALLY attached to my tarte tinted primer i discovered in one of my sub boxes… how does this one compare? any thoughts? is there a strong scent?

The scent isn’t strong, but I still don’t like it. I love the primer itself, but the scent is not for me. It goes away after a few seconds, though.

I wonder if anyone will want to trade this for their Juice Beauty moisturizer. I love that stuff! I received this primer in BoxyCharm, and really just don’t see the magic of primers. Love Dr. Brandt, but don’t care about primers.

I love Dr. Brandt, but I swapped the Luminizer Primer I got from Boxycharm a few months ago. I’m sure the product is stellar and I am probably in the minority here, but I’m just not into primer. I never know how to use it properly. This is a cancel for me.

If it helps, I like using it alone on no makeup days. It is moisturizing and gives a nice healthy glow.

I’ve also never gotten into primer-mostly because I’m not really sure how to use it. Do I put it all over my face as if it were a moisturizer or dot on places as needed?
I tried one I got in Birchbox all over and felt like I was wearing pounds of makeup after I put on foundation…coulda been just the brand…or maybe my technique LOL!
Any primer advice you can share? I want to like it–I really do LOL!

Not super excited that this seems to be the hero item, but I will definitely try it. I can’t seem to find a primer that actually works on my face. The Lancer primer from the bridesmaids box was really well-reviewed, and still doesn’t help. I must be doing something wrong

Does your primer make your foundation ‘pill’? Mine does and I have tried different ones. It seems to help to reduce pilling if I give the primer a good time to dry before applying foundation (at least 30 minutes) but that time is not always available.

I normally never respond to these and dont even have this box was just reading about it to see if this is mainly an all makeup box. The problem you and others may have is to make sure your using both water-based or silicone-based primer and foundation. This may help you.

Yes! I’ve had that problem before, but I don’t know if it’s the primer, the foundation, or whatever skincare product I happened to rub on my face that day. But I have noticed it mainly with the Figs & Rouge primer we got in PSMH so I don’t use that one very often. Plus, it reacts with my skin or something, and it ends up STINKING something horrible for a few minutes

I have that problem too. I have tried different primers, moisturizers, serums. Sponges brushes.

I like this primer and have been using it every day. I’ve been wondering, though, what other people think of the scent? I really don’t like how it smells.

Nice! I’m so glad I signed up for this box. I absolutely loved the April box and the May box looks like it’s off to a good start. The Becca first light primer is my current favorite. However, it comes in a glass bottle that I do not want to travel with. I’d be glad to have a co-favorite that is more travel friendly, so I’m looking forward to trying the Dr. Brandt primer.

Dr Brandt is making the rounds in the sub box world! Still have this untouched from boxy and boxy is sending a primer again this month. Been passing on beauty fix for awhile bc of the one hero item and tiny samples.

Love this so much when I received in boxycharm that it’s more than halfway gone so I am happy to have a backup. I had cancelled beautyfix for a long time but signed back up for the past 2 boxes. So far so good for May!
