I hate Kat Von D and not looking forward to anything but the scrub this month

I wonder what color the Kat Von D Everlasting lipstick will be. I just purchased the color Mother and I really love it. Was considering purchasing 2-3 more but I’ll hold off to see what color we get in the box.

This will be my first box from Allure and I can’t wait…should be here any day now!!! Wooohooo!!!!

I have two different types of these. I keep a couple of pair at a time in the refrigerator. I like these but I kinda feel guilty about the amount of waste. I feel the same way about makeup remover wipes but I still use them.

I just watched Allure’s unboxing video that was in the “Your First Look” email they sent out today. She said that the Korres would be in all boxes, along with the Nudestix. I thought it was going to be a variant, but it would be great if it really was in all the boxes. The tube looked to be such a great size!

I am not excited for these. I have tried many eye masks and none have ever made the slightest difference. I think short of getting my eyes “done” there is nothing that is going to help with under eye bags.

Tip for the eye masks that is commonly not known: the larger circle you would think goes under the eye actually goes out the side where you would get crow’s feet wrinkles to plump that area up as well. The tapered side goes down under eyes as close as you can get it. I always see them on backwards so always share the tidbit in case! Especially if you’re like me and want the outer corner eye plumped.

Thanks for the tip!

You’re welcome! Figured getting the extra benefit from it was worth potentially sounding redundant. It took me awhile to figure it out myself, because I went by other people’s pictures for a bit from IG lol

Jill

Wander Golden Eye Masks! How fun! Cuz I am yet to discover any eye masks that actually work…so looking forward to trying these. And we are guaranteed to get them, so YAY! 🙂

I haven’t even been charged for April’s box yet.

Reply ButtonReply

IV

Same. I usually get charged by 10th or 11th.

Beccah

I was charged yesterday

Reply ButtonReply

Cindy

Yup, the charge showed up on my credit card yesterday so I’m anxiously awaiting the email with shipping details!

Kim

Neither have I .

Lindsey

I just got billed today

Annabella

Tip for the eye masks – you can chill them in the fridge first but more importantly, when they are on, lie down and relax. I tried to keep them on while vertical and kinda felt them dragging the under eye area down a bit. That’s the last thing we want to happen to that area.

sara

Thanks, Annabella! I’ll take all the tips I can get : )

Kasey

Im getting those eye masks in this months ipsy bags too.

Lisa Martin

Yay for the eye masks!!!

Michelle

Have the April boxes shipped yet? I am impatiently waiting to see which variation I got.

Reply ButtonReply

Maggie

I haven’t even been billed yet. I don’t know why not. I’ve been with Allure for months now (since sometime in 2017). But last month I received the box really late too. So, fingers crossed I see them bill me for it & a see a shipping notice soon.

Reply ButtonReply

Tanya

I haven’t received a shipping notification yet (although I received last month’s notification after I had already received the box!). I haven’t been billed yet, either, which is odd.

Reply ButtonReply

Julie

Tanya, you’re right, I just remembered that happened to me. I got an Allure email saying my box had shipped, but I’d already gotten it days before.

Tanya

I’m not a fan of the variations that Allure has started doing, but I’m excited about the eye masks! I’m suddenly getting huge bags the older I get and I’m always super-insecure about them, so I’ll try any and every eye treatment I can to see if anything will help.

Reply ButtonReply

The Baroness

I hear that! 😬 I don’t have bags, but for the first time, I have dark circles. I have tried several specialized products and I have found only concealer works.

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

I started using an reddish concealer for my darkness I read about on Allure’s site and it’s amazing.

Jacki

I’ve collected several eye masks in boxes, but I have yet to put any on! One of these days I’ll remember before I apply moisturizer.

Dea

Just think of them as a fun thing to do with zero results. The Skyn Iceland ones are OK in terms of texture and feel. The Wilma Schumann ones are trash.

Reply ButtonReply

J L

Agree!

sara

I have the same situation! I have several waiting for me to use but never quite get to it. So I wasn’t too excited when I saw another pair that will be added to my collection.

Are these popular and I’m just missing the boat? Maybe if I heard how easy they are to apply and how much they help, I’d get off my butt and use ’em! : )

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

Depending on the texture, size, and shape of the eye mask, some are easier to apply than others (sorry, that probably didn’t help). As for how effective they are, I find that most of the ones I’ve tried so far are decent for moisturizing the eye area, but that’s pretty much it, some seem to do nothing (they dry out even before the 20 minutes are up), and I’ve only used one so far where I really noticed a difference (and think it’d be great to use right before a special event), but it’s from an unknown brand (Martinni Beauty) I think I got off of Hautelook a while back.
