The box came with a little slip of information about Wantable's service.

product list for march 2018 wantable fitness

Here's the info booklet, along with the product list.

In the style quiz I took when signing up, I noted the types of things I like, love, and dislike wearing, as well as the price range I'd be most comfortable spending on different pieces (like tops, bottoms, and tertiary styles like jackets, etc.). To get a feeling for the prices and quality I should expect with this subscription, I picked the mid-range price bracket. It looks like the items I got in this box run from $48.00-$88.00.

return shipping label

They also include a pre-paid shipping envelope to use with whatever you decide to return. Be sure to keep track of when your package has to be in the mail to avoid being charged for pieces you don't want. Wantable does a great job of sending emails along to alert you when the due date is coming up, but I always like to mark my date on my calendar, just in case!

Okay, now for the clothes! FYI, I usually wear a 10 in jeans, a medium (like a 6 or an 8) in tops and t-shirts, and I'm a 36B. I'm also just 5' 3". So, on the shorter, curvier side.

pink leggings and black top

Here's my first look!

midi bra

black top from behind

Glyder Unwind Sports Bra Black/Sheer Stripe, Size Medium - Retail Value $52.00

I love the new trend of longer, "midi" style sports bras. They're super comfortable, obviously provide plenty of coverage, and tend to be pretty flattering on me. The extra length and coverage also make me feel more likely to wear midi bras to the gym/out on a jog without anything on top of them. The slender stripes on this nylon/spandex, moisture-wicking bra is super cool to me—something about them feels really fresh and modern. The keyhole back of the bra seems stylish out of the box, but I don't really like how stretched out it ends up looking when it's on. I've been really impressed with the Glyder styles I've gotten in this subscription box. They have a general aesthetic that I really like!

pink leggings

Electric & Rose Sunset Legging Dragonfruit/Cloud, Size Large - Retail Value $88.00

Whoa. Talk about PINK! These leggings are bright bubblegum pink, which is quite a departure from my usual more muted palette. The fabric of these leggings is also a standout—they're a cotton/spandex blend that feels like a perfect midpoint between a sturdy cotton tee and a sleek pair of leggings. That cotton component made them feel a lot more breathable than many leggings I've tried. The high waistband is just the thing I'd look for in leggings, though it did roll down a little bit as I stretched around. I don't know if this is the color for me, but I'm definitely going to bookmark this brand. That fabric is just so nice!

white pullover

hooded pullover

Free People Movement Believer Sweat Pullover in White, Size Medium - Retail Value $68.00

This pullover is super comfortable, but I'm not sure if I'm sold on the style. It's made from a polyester/cotton/rayon blend that feels like a lightweight combination between a sweatshirt and a really plush towel. It feels like it'd be right at home on an LA beach, tossed over a bathing suit and shorts. As for me here in Pittsburgh, this pocketed pullover feels just a smidge too boho. Especially given the oversized fit and the blousy cut, it feels a little more fairytale than I'd like to go.

peasant coverup pullover

Are you picking up the "as you wish" vibes that I'm putting down?

black capri leggings

high waisted contouring leggings

Nux Active V-Crop Pants in Black, Size Large - Retail Value $65.00

These microfiber/nylon leggings are smooth to the touch, sturdy, and stay in place well. But the V-shaped waistband is tighter than I expected, almost in a shapewear kind of way. My first reaction was "Wow, these are like KARDASHIAN leggings!" They kind of squished my waist in and smushed my booty up. Hehe! Not bad, necessarily, but maybe not the right pair of leggings for me.

lace up sleeve sweatshirt

black sweatshirt

Mono B Lace-Up Sleeve Pullover in Black, Size Medium - Listed Value $48.00

I couldn't find this top online, so I listed the price that's in the booklet. This top is a pretty straightforward cotton sweatshirt. It's not particularly cozy, but it should be pretty long-lasting thanks to the sturdy 100% cotton fabric. The fancy aspect is the lace-up pattern on each sleeve. It's snazzy, but it's not totally my style.

pink leopard leggings

pocket on pink leopard print leggings

Strut This Flynn Capri Pink Cheetah Leggings, Size Large - Listed Value $72.00

Ooo, I haven't heard of this brand before! These leggings are pretty loud, but I'm weirdly drawn to them. (Bubblegum pink is a lot for me, but pale pink is a little bit more my speed.) I'm also kind of fascinated by leopard prints—my dream is to own a leopard print coat one day! I have zero idea what I'd trust to stay in the pockets on the sides of these leggings, but I think it's kind of awesome that they exist. The fabric is beautifully smooth, too. They're very much a second skin.

plain black bra

strappy back bra

Onzie Mudra Bra in Black, Size Medium/Large - Retail Value $49.00

I love me a black bra, and I do like Onzie styles, but this bra feels too bare across the back. It looks like it straight-up doesn't fit, but it's actually comfortable and perfectly fitted across the front. But against my broader back, these straps just feel kind of short and stretched too far. I think it's cute how the straps look like a star (do you see it?), and of course, I love that this bra is black, and thus, super versatile.

The Verdict: I liked this month's assortment. It felt really trendy to me, maybe a little more so than in previous boxes. The fit of most of the pieces was solid, too, which is ultimately the thing I care about most. While I'm not sure if all of the patterns and colors are right for me, I did really like discovering a lot of new brands that I didn't know about before!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Wantable curates its boxes based on each individual's preferences as well as what's available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $20.00 with free shipping. The total retail value of the items inside was $441.00. If I keep 5 or more items, I'll get 20% off of that amount. Oh, and remember that my $20.00 styling fee goes towards whatever I buy. In short, if I kept everything, I would spend $332.80, which is about 25% in savings.

Thanks so much, Sofia! And surprisingly enough… Target! I literally saw them and gasped, like “WHAT. ARE. YOU?!” when I saw them in my local store. (I was alone. A lady looked at me.) Here they are online! http://bit.ly/2DbGUi6

I must say the bubblegum pink leggings are very figure flattering. I immediately wondered if you lost weight! They wouldn’t be my first color pick, lol, but they look very good on your body!

You sold me on the Onzie bra. You said you thought it looked like it didn’t fit but I think it looks great on you. I liked everything about it. Think I’ll get me one.

Love that first outfit on you, Anna! You should keep those hot pink leggings. They look super cute and flattering on you! I like the other (lighter) pink combo on you too. These pieces are out of my price range but I thoroughly enjoyed this review.
