Walmart offers a Baby Box filled with samples and offers designed for various stages of parenthood. They currently offer three boxes: Prenatal (6-1 months before due date), Newborn/Infant (0-11 months) and Toddler (1-3 years old). When you sign up they will ask for your due date or baby’s birthdate and the gender (boy, girl, or surprise me). Then they send the box that best fits the stage your child is in. If you sign up for a Prenatal or Newborn/Infant box they will automatically send you the next box when they enter that next stage.

Walmart Baby Box March 2018 Review for Toddlers

Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0003 - coupon

Aquaphor Healing Ointment Advanced Therapy, .03 oz. - Buy a 3.5 oz. container for $6.96

My first sample for the month is a product I am very familiar with. When my son was a newborn, he would get some skin irritation on his belly and the only product that worked was Aquaphor! It also works wonders on diaper rash if you are looking for something to work FAST. I have even used this product on my hands this winter so I was excited to get a little sample to have on hand. This product will last you a long time if you get the bigger jars, but we used to blow through the smaller pouches which is great to see that this came with a coupon code to use as well.

Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0005 - coupon

Our next coupon is for Go & Grow Mix-ins by Similac. There wasn't a sample attached to this, but it looks like they have a lot of different packets that you can pick from. Luckily, my toddler is not a picker eater, sometimes I wonder if he is eating too much, so I don't really worry too much about him getting the proper nutrients. I am going to pass this onto my friend that I know uses this product!

Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0007 - food coupon

Our next coupon is for Kidfresh meals that you can find in the freezer section. I am home full-time with my son and sometimes I just need something super fast to give him, especially for lunch. I have never tried this brand before, but with the extra coupon, I might have to give it a try!

Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0008 - coupon

Our next coupon is for Nestle Nido Milk Powder. It looks like this product is made for kids above the age of one that maybe doesn't like the taste of milk. I know it can be so hard transitioning to milk and a big concern if you find your little one doesn't enjoy the new taste of milk. This powder allows them to get the nutrients they would be getting from milk with a different flavor. My son loves milk so I'll be passing this coupon onto one of my friends as well.

Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0009 - vicks coupon

This is one coupon I will be using! We have used the children's Vick's VapoRub for a while now and have always loved it. My son can get pretty terrible coughs and sometimes you just want to do anything you can to give them some relief! I was happy to see that they had a children's line that is safe and works.

Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0011 - dove tip to toe Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0012 - dove tip to toe

Baby Dove Tip to Toe Wash, 1.8 fl. oz. - Buy a 13 oz. container for $5.86

I received this sample last year in a baby box and really enjoyed it! It has the same scent as most Dove products and that thick moisturizing texture. We use shampoo and conditioner on my son's long locks now, but I am always looking for an extra hydrating body wash for him. After this long dry winter, this is the perfect wash to use from a brand that we already know and trust!

Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0013 - all Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0014 - all

All Free & Clear Detergent, 1.78 fl oz. - Buy a 94.5 fl oz. container for $7.97

I am an All Free & Clear user so this was a wonderful sample to receive! When my son turned one, I was in search of a detergent that I could switch to outside of the baby brands. I actually saw an Instagram post from a Mom of three that mentioned how much she loves All and really trusts the brand with her kid's sensitive skin. I made the switch and have been so happy ever since. Now I can safely combine my son's laundry with ours, which has really cut back on the number of loads each week which is also a big help to the environment!

Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0015 - aveeno Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0016 - aveeno

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion, 1 fl oz. - Buy a 12 oz. container for $6.97

I am always in need of hand lotion, especially travel sizes like this that I can toss in my diaper bag. Aveeno is a product that I know and love. The daily lotion is perfect because it drinks right into my skin, providing a deep hydration, without leaving a greasy feeling on my hands. Plus, I feel confident using it on my son's sensitive skin as well.

Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0017 - huggies Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0018 - huggies open

Huggies Wipes - Buy a box of 648 wipes for $14.63

We blow through wipes in my house so I am always excited to receive a free travel size. I was able to just toss this in my diaper bag to use on the go when needed. I did recently try Huggies wipes, and I found that they are not my favorite brand to use, unfortunately. They are smaller and seem to break apart easily, which isn't great when you are cleaning up a messy diaper. Even though I don't love this brand, I am still happy to receive this travel size and will use them all!

Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0019 - lego Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0020 - lego Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0021 - lego parts Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0022 - lego built

Lego Duplo Duck - Buy an animal set for $23.99

Our final product for the month is this awesome Lego set! I wasn't able to find this duck online, but it looks like they have a ton of really cool sets that you can purchase. The Duplo sets are sort of a starter to actual Legos which is great for a toddler. My son is obsessed with building things and can't wait to get his hands on some Legos. For now, we are working on his building skills with these cool characters!

Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0010 - toy coupon

It also came with this coupon booklet that I can't wait to use. After seeing how many figure sets they have at Walmart, we are going to have to make a trip to get some!

Walmart Toddler Box March 2018 - 0004 - oil of olay coupon

Olay Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream, 0.02 oz sample - Buy a 1.7 oz. jar for $24.93

The final coupon and sample for the month is for the Moms! This moisturizer is meant to hydrate, even skin tone, and remove dark spots. I can't wait to continue using this sample and use my coupon code if I like the product!

The Verdict: What a great way to learn about new products or receive travel size items that you can take with you on summer vacations! This box was free but costs $5.00 for shipping and handling. Many of the products came in sample or travel sizes, but that is a great way to learn about new brands and familiarize yourself with their products. I know I can be pretty selective about what products I use on my son so sample boxes like this really allow me to see what I like before making a big purchase. Plus, we got the awesome Lego duck toy, what a fun surprise! I think this box is great for families that are always looking for samples, coupons, or just enjoys learning about new brands. With my growing family, I know I will use these coupons and always appreciate a good sample!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, all three boxes are currently available although the products and samples inside your box may vary!

I should add that all the sample were tiny single use items like single serve of baby cereal and a single load All sample. In general I’ve been very happy with the boxes, but this one was a dud.

Hmm, my comment looks weird with the comment I made previous to this missing. In case it doesn’t show up, my addition was in commenting on receiving this same toddler box and it being a mostly empty box. Couple of very small samples worth maybe $2 at most and a couple of coupons. No toy, no travel size samples, just a couple of single use items. Very disappointing compared to prior boxes I’ve recevied.

I know this review is a few months old now, but commenting in case anyone is looking and considering getting this. I signed up for the prenatal box a little over a year ago. Got the prenatal box and then baby box which were both great. Just got the toddler box and what a disappointment. I received a mostly empty box with a couple of samples worth at most a couple of dollars. Feel like even at $5 it was a rip-off. Yes, I received a few $1 off coupons, but I don’t really find these to add much to the value of the box since I’d have to spend $5-10 per item to save each $1. I’m sure every box is different, but at least the one I just got didn’t even live up to the $5 price tag.

I know this is for the baby and kid boxes, but has anyone heard about spring boxes?

Just FYI – those bagged LEGO sets routinely sell for $5. So if you’re concerned about value, if you like the toy, you’re getting everything else as a bonus!

Just FYI – those kind of LEGO kits usually sell for $5/pop. So all your value is right there, then you get the other samples and coupons on top of it 🙂

Are the coupons for
Free product or an amount off? I can’t tell from the picture

They are all for a dollar amount off!

The duplo and the huggies wipes are ok, everything else is garbage for me so not worth the shipping cost. Like pp mentioned you get way more from Target, Amazon or even babylist for free (but like actually free lol). I get $5 is pretty cheap but if you aren’t gonna use any of it then it just aint worth it. I prefer much more natural soap options for my babies. Some snack samples or something would have been nice.

Hmm… I know this is free, but it’s not really “free” when you have to pay $5 shipping. Considering what Target does for Free and Amazon does with any other $10 purchase, this seems pricey.

I always find it helpful to have the total value of the box, included in the “verdict” section. Most reviews have them.

Thanks for your feedback! This box was a little tricky to do an average value of since they consider the coupons and sample size products a value item.
