Now, onto the items!
Teri Miyahira “Genuine” Blush – Retail Value $38
The retail prices for Teri Miyahira are on the higher end of the makeup spectrum, but the formulas are amazing, and I think they are totally worth it if you want high-quality ingredient conscious makeup.
These go on with a silky finish, the pigment is excellent, and they are easy to blend, too.
This blush has a satin finish and is just a few shades darker than my skin tone, so it’s PERFECT for a no-makeup look. This is my new everyday blush!

Teri Miyahira “Energize” Luminosity Lip Gloss – Retail Value $28
This is a shimmery, peachy-pink sheer gloss with lots of shine. The formula has a vanilla cupcake flavor and isn’t too sticky. I normally steer clear of peach lip colors, but since this one goes on somewhat sheer, it was a nice topper for my regular liquid lipstick.
Here it is swatched beneath the blush:
Good news for anyone who doesn’t like a sparkle look – the microshimmer in the lipgloss is super fine
Airbrush Complexion Spong – Value Listed $16
I found this to be very on par with my beauty blender!
If you aren’t familiar with these types of makeup sponges, you wet it, squeeze out any moisture, then use it to apply liquid foundation, liquid concealer, etc. The key is to bounce the sponge across your skin – and you get an airbrush-like finish!
Verdict: This box has a suggested retail value of about $82. I think that’s a good value for the quality of makeup you get with this subscription. (If you’ve tried making the transition from regular makeup to natural makeup, you may have found that a lot of products just don’t hold up perfectly. With these formulas, that isn’t the case at all. In a blind test, I would never have guessed they were ingredient-conscious.)
My biggest warning for this subscription is that it isn’t customizable, so you could end up with colors that don’t work for you. If you’re thinking of subscribing, I’d recommend doing a 6-month or 12-month subscription to bring the cost way down ($35 a month with an annual subscription).
