February 2018 Super Geek Box Review

The February box is, once again, themed after a color – this time, it’s Sapphire Blue Edition.

You can also expect a little button with each box – this month’s pin mimics the shirt. Speaking of the shirt…

Mr. Meeseeks Shirt – Value $15?

LOVE this shirt! This exclusive shirt features a nice NIKE/Rick & Morty mash-up that features a Meeseeks’ favorite saying – “Caaaaan DO!”

Deal With It Hat – Value $10-15?

This month includes another NERDCRE8 hat just like last month.

It features Squirtle from Pokemon.

These have been good quality hats – and you can always expect a snapback hat, so one size fits most.

Supersonic Socks – Value $12?

This month includes a third wearable item – Sonic socks!

Most gamers have experienced the Emerald Hill Zone from Sonic – you’re practically dropped right into it – so these socks are nice for Sonic fans.

Mega Man Air Freshener

The last two items are listed as ‘bonus items’ – so I’m not sure how many items we can now expect in the box. This is a little Mega Man air freshener that follows that sapphire blue theme.

Super Geek Box Magnet

And the last item is a little SGB magnet for your fridge – also marked as a bonus item.

Verdict: This box used to almost always include some type of vinyl figure – I kind of miss that aspect – for the second month in a row, all of the items are clothing and I’m not sure how to feel about that! The other aspect I’m a little confused about is how many items to expect now – the card lists only 3 items in the box, and the button, air freshener, and magnet as bonus items – so how many items are guaranteed moving forward? Not sure – but I am sure that I’m loving this fantastic shirt – that alone made my day.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No – you can find the current month available at the top of their homepage. They are currently taking March subscriptions.

  1. @Eric – Here’s what it says on their homepage for the March box:

“We are bringing in 2018 with a bang with SuperGeekBox 3.0! Giving more of what people love every month.

An epic collection of extremely stylish gear to help you geek out from head to toe. One of the funniest t-shirts and the most awesome headwear yet! We sold out last month so You do not want to sleep on this one!”

    • Thanks – It seems like they’re going heavy on clothing this year.
