I am a huge fan and love her taste, so this is one of my favorite style subscription boxes!

Rachel Zoe Collection Palm Print Duster – Retail Value $150

This is an exclusive design just for Box of Style subscribers! (It is the same print in Rachel’s Spring 2018 Ready to Wear Collection.)

You can wear it open, or tie the top closed with the tasseled cords. Here’s the back:

The fabric is 100% polyester, and it is dry clean only. (This isn’t your typical cotton, sheer, beach cover-up. I knew it wasn’t from the spoiler pictures, but I was still a little surprised when I felt the fabric.)

I absolutely love the palm print – this feels like such a glamorous poolside cover-up to me.

Rachel also recommends wearing it with a slip dress, cinching it with a belt, or pairing it with denim and a tee. (Box of Style shows lots of styling options on their Instagram account.)

I wasn’t sure if I’d end up wearing this other ways besides a swimsuit coverup or a robe, but now I’m liking it for a casual vacation style. What do you think?

Bonnie Clyde The Hill Sunglasses – Retail Value $64

These are my new favorite sunglasses! The clear pink frame is so cute and fresh, and the lens color is a perfect contrast:

And they are comfortable to wear, too! (No nose pads to get stuck in your hair when you wear these on your head, either!)

Jen Atkin x Chloe + Isabel Headwrap & Choker – Retail Value $48

This is a multi-use item that can work as a choker, a headband, a bracelet, and a belt!

It measures approximately 60 inches long, and it’s made from a burgundy faux suede with clear crystals and antique gold chain:

Lili Claspe Rope the Moon Lariat – Retail Value $115

This necklace is 14K gold plated brass with cubic zirconia crystals. I’m very impressed with the quality of the piece, and I love delicate jewelry with just a bit of sparkle, so this is pretty much my dream necklace!

Kopari is a great ingredient-conscious beauty brand and every product starts with 100% organic coconut oil. This Coconut Rose Water is light and refreshing and can be used throughout the day to hydrate your skin. (Hold it at arm’s length to make sure the mist is fine enough to keep your makeup pristine.)

Kopari Coconut Lip Love – Retail Value $20

This Lip Love is fantastic! It has a subtle coconut flavor, the formula is super moisturizing, and your lips get a slight gloss without any stickiness.

And with warm weather coming soon (I hope) it’s always good to have a lip product in my purse that can’t melt!

Verdict: This box has a retail value of $413. That’s fab for $99.99! The theme this season is the “California Edition,” and I think that they did a great job on the curation. The box is a hit for me, too. The jewelry is perfect, I would pay full price for the sunglasses, and the all-natural Kopari beauty products are a treat! The duster is the one item that is pushing me a bit out of my fashion comfort zone, but that’s part of the appeal of this box for me. I want a box that feels like authentic Rachel Zoe – not something that is playing it safe.

  1. What’s the best way to get CS to respond? I’ve sent a second email over a week and half ago and haven’t gotten a real response yet. My first email was answered very generically and wasn’t helpful at all.

    I see they’re monitoring this thread – but yet.. they will not respond emails.

    Anyone have luck just commenting on their IG/Facebook posts? It just seems crazy that its now over a month after they’ve started shipping out the spring box, and I’ve gotten no notification for shipping, or at least a notification on why its delayed.

    This is the first issue I’ve had with the box so far, and now I finally see why people are so frustrated with it.

    I have a vacation in a few weeks, and was really looking forward to using some of the items on my trip. At this rate, I’ll be lucky to get it before the summer officially starts. Just crazy!

  2. Customer service is really something that Rachel Zoe is not interested in. I have sent 3 emails regarding membership and not a reply as yet. The last subscription was the same. I live in Australia so calling is not an option for me. I am seriously considering cancelling my subscription as it is not worth the hassle. And why is there only a free gift with purchase for new customers? Surely existing customers should be rewarded! Come on Rachel Zoe. Without returning customers you really have nothing!

  3. Maybe I’ll get a faster answer here, because I have sent you guys five emails in two weeks and have yet to receive an answer. I purchased my first box on March 26 and have not received anything yet. I sent you several emails regarding the shipping status of my box, without answer, but now when I go on the website it shows “complete”.. erm… it appears it hasn’t been sent out yet so how is it complete??? I’m freaking out a little.

  4. Question: when it says ‘subscribers’ does that only mean people who buy the full four boxes upfront?

    Because I don’t want to subscribe to a box that requires me to pay that much upfront JUST so I can have silver jewelry.

    Y’know what I mean?

      Thanks for your interest. ‘Subscribers’ or ‘Members’ are anyone who is currently subscribed to Box of Style, whether seasonally or annually. Seasonal members pay $99.99 quarterly, while Annual members pay $349.99, which includes 4 boxes. I hope this helps!

  5. In the last days my spring box arrived, the Customer service is a disaster – but I can tell – ALL THE ITEMS ARE HIGH QUALITY! The sunglasses really not my type but my 19 y/o stepdaughter rocks in them. My fav one the gold necklace- even my husband likes it.

    • Good to know with respect to the quality of the items in this one. The customer service complaints make me wary even if like the spoilers and there is a good deal going on.

      I almost get the sense they don’t have any customer service or it is like one person who does other things. They should just hire someone to handle and turn the customer service around as the boxes themselves are quite good.

  6. I received this box but I’m pretty bummed that I didn’t receive the pamphlet that comes with it :/ it’s nothing crazy but I’d love to have the exclusive coupon codes that come with it. I contacted BOS but still no response. I know BOS CS reps read these so hoping for a response. If anyone can help with this I’d be super grateful!

  7. I still have not received my box. I logged into my account and it shows my gold selection. My card was charged in February, I have emailed with no response. I received no shipping notice. I love the boxes but the customer service is so bad. My box came after Christmas for in winter and I purchased an additional box for a gift. I’m considering canceling just due to poor customer service. Does anyone know a better way to get a response?

    • My box finally came and I love everything in it. I’m just sad it took all the fus. They did eventually reach out to me. I’ll give it one more shot

    • Yes. I just posted the same. I have emailed. No response. Their account page is hard to follow. My card was charged in February. It’s really sad the customer service is so poor because I like the product. But with FFF and Popsugar and Trunk Club I don’t know if I need the headache anymore. With PS going quarterly you think they would step up their game.

        this is pretty frustrating – I have never had any issues like this before with them. Guess it was only a matter of time.

      • Finally got my box on 5/4! I hope you were able to get ahold of CS. I pretty much commented a lot on FB, instagram, twitter, and in this thread. They did reach out via DMs, but even then it took a week or so to get them to email with the issue.

        Apparently it was overlooked and not shipped out on time (obviously.. over a month of nothing) but once they confirmed the issue and resolved it, it took about a week to get here. Just seems weird that they’re always posting deals with Gilt and other retailers to get new subscribers, but can’t even take care of their current customers first.

        I am relieved to get the box – I was really excited for all the items and glad they came just in time for my beach vacation.

  9. Update of my shipment:

    Eleven days ago I send the confirmation of my address.

    Seven days ago the customer service representative wrote an email that ensure that the next day I would receive an email with my tracking number.

    Nothing yet…. I wrote her back, no response!

    March 21— no shipment and I am a “vip member”

  10. I finally received my box and like most of it. The duster is pushing my comfort level, but I’m taking with me for spring break and will try it.

    What I can’t get over is the poor customer service. After the debacle of the Winter box (it was very late and the two hero items damaged), I was offered, and told given, a credit on this box. Surprise, surprise – I checked my account and no credit. I’ve contacted customer service and received a somewhat rude email from Tristen asking them prove it. That was almost two weeks ago and I’ve received no response to my emails or voice messages. I have the proof – which I shouldn’t need, if they had done what they said they would. If I don’t hear from them soon, I’m trying to decide what my next step will be. I’m seeing BOS monitoring this string – please reach out to me – I’m terribly disappointed this is happening.

  11. I don’t mind the idea of the print of the duster, but the execution is super cheap looking. Though I love RZ’s styling, I find all the clothes from her line to be made cheaply. So I agree, if this starts to be a Zoe clothing brand box, I’ll bc our, even though I have subscribed from the very first box.

    I also find it creepy that her CS is posting so much here. Other than the duster and the creepy CS, I like the box.

  12. I just received my box today. Everybody needs this box. I’m in love with everything. The glass are excellent high quality as well as everything else. You won’t be disappointed. It’s so much fun. I’m so glad I hit that, place order button.

  13. Anyone have issues with getting a shipping notification?

    • I am….I was notified of “vip status” earlier in the year, but here we are on March 17th, 2 emails sent to customer service asking when the shipping notification will be sent…no response. As an annual subscriber, the customer service and fulfillment process leaves one very disappointed. BOS ……can’t you get it right even once. VIP does suck sometimes..

      • Thanks guys! I was an annual last year, and I think this year I only purchased 2 (winter 2017 and spring 18). Sometimes I’ve gotten the shipping, while other times I don’t. Or more likely, the email comes after I get it.

        I’m worried my order is messed up and I will not receive the spring box – which I’m excited for everything in it!

  14. I’m having similar customer service issues. Got an email saying my box was delivered when it wasn’t. I actually thought it had been stolen from my front porch. 2 weeks later I get another email with shipment notification and tracking number so I singed up for email updates. I tracked it and it arrived yesterday. Clearly something is going on. Maybe team RZ could look into things?

    I have to say that the spring box is rally cool except for the duster because the sizing is really odd. I like the fabric and the print but the fit is off for bustier girls like me. I would ask TRZ team to watch more closely about things like ‘one size’ items really being inclusive. This one is not and because of that I’m either going to have to gift someone or wear it as an at home item.

  16. @box of style customer service reading here, I am a seasonal subscriber since box #1. I have never cancel and sub so I have been paying full price for every box. Besides getting a makeup bag at the end of the 4th box, there is no perk being loyal. I do see that now if you have had at least 4 boxes in a row, your box ships right after the annual. I think there should be more perks for a non stop sub customer since box 1!

  17. I am not having much luck with their customer service. I have emailed twice since I got my box last week and got one response stating they are very busy due to “the holiday season”. I’m not sure which holiday they are referring to,,, maybe St Patty’s Day? Lol. Anyway, my box was missing the necklace. Very disappointed because I think that would have been my favorite item in the box. I hope they either make it right by sending me the gold necklace or refunding a portion of the box since I didn’t get everything I was supposed to. Second time this has happened with this subscription. For the price I pay, I expect better.

Still waiting. Haven’t received a notification or anything. Why is it taking so long? I did send a follow up to the customer service email a few moments ago.   18. Got my box today! Here are my honest thoughts:

    All were individually wrapped and enclosed in the beautiful palm print paper.

    Duster: Love! It fits me a bit on the loose side but it is too long so I will hem it to below my knee like the models show. Right now it is almost to the floor on me. I love this print and can’t wait for a beach vacation! I also will pair it over one of my black dresses, leggings, or shorts. The fabric is not heavy but does breathe so it will not be hot. Sure it would be nice it it were silk but I still love it. She did some of this print for her runway collection and I would buy it if it were made for a petite frame.

    Sunglasses: Love! I did not have a pair of sunnies with this type of frame. They are also smaller than my usual frames but I love them anyway!

    Necklace: Just OK. It is a repeat of a necklace we got 2 years ago. I actually like the other one better so will be trading or selling it.

    Headwrap/Bracelet: Not for me. I can’t stand anything around hair. So will trade or sell this.

    Kopari: I am all about anything Kopari so this was a huge win! The lip balm is decadently good and I also love the face spray.

    They also sent me a beautiful Modern Alchemy candle and a perfume sample.

    So I am happy with this box. It is a huge step up from her winter and fall boxes.

    Am I sold on staying with the subscription? No. Not without a discount and full spoilers.

  19. I just received the duster in a swap and I’m so in love with it, it’s beautiful and super good quality, nothing like the last summer cover up from fabfitfun, this really feel like a nice fabric ❤️
