If they just wanted to toss in an extra item, why not mirrored compact for your handbag, even with L’oreal logo.

Sorry, just had to pile on. They are made by the same manufacturer but they’re are not the same. Just smell a loreal lipstick and a lancome one and you can tell the difference. Honda makes Acura, Toyota makes Lexus, and no one says those car makes are equal.

They may be owned by the same company but they aren’t the same. Lancôme products are much higher quality than the drugstore L’Oreal version. General Motors makes a Chevy Cruze and a Cadillac Escalade. Same maker – light years apart in luxury and performance. Sorry you don’t get that.

There is NOTHING posh about L’Oreal. 😔
If I paid that much for a box I would be furious to find a drugstore brand cosmetic in my box.
Maybe Givenchy or Guerlain….still though. Weird curation.
It’s this very thing that prevents me from subscribing to any boxes over 25 bucks.

L’Oreal Lipstick does not sound poshy to me – I am surprised they would consider putting it in the box, ruins a nice box – any lipstick with the rest of the items would be odd in this box – even 1 item that is off in curation like that can make an okay box seem less then okay.
