Is anyone getting box 685? Blonde, chemically treated, light/medium skin tone, grey eyes. I really wish there were some additional boxes to check for brands and colors we do not want or at least types of products we don’t want. I got a constant run of dry shampoos for a long time. I also don’t seem to get any of the highest end products like Hourglass etc. I should not need to pay additional for the boxes that are a bump up that come up once in a while. That was not the point of subbing to Sephora. I am seriously considering cancelling my subscription considering the amount of duplicate products I am beginning to get. I love a great red but, how many do I need?

Ugh, don’t want hair stuff. I even edited my profile because I use one hair care line. But, if everyone gets one, nothing I can do about it… this will be a giveaway. I have friends that will love it, just feel like my friends are getting more of my Play! Items than I am.

On my Sephora App it is showing me a sneak peek that a sunscreen will be included in the March box.

I have lupus and get rashes from the sun, so I’m a sunscreen addict. I have very long/dry hair, so I’d be happy with anything moisturizing. I hope “festival” DOES mean colors and sparkles!

Ugh, I really don’t want a hair product. Especially not the Verb ghost oil. I swear, I will scream if that crap shows up in my bag.

I’ve never been the type of person to spend a lot of time on my hair (mostly just shampoo/conditioner, brush it and go). So I’m always just half-interested in the haircare products in Sephora Play. But I do give them all a try and sometimes it pays off. Because of this box, I’ve found at least 6 hair products that I LOVE and use. I would never have found these on my own because I rarely, if ever, buy hair products from Sephora (well, I do now, but just the products I’ve found because of Play).
That is what I think a lot of people don’t get about Sephora Play. This subscription is meant to let you sample makeup/skincare/haircare at a relatively low cost. It is supposed to let you “play” with products you might not otherwise get a chance to use. The beauty of this box is that it introduces you to products that you may have never thought of trying for yourself, but sometimes end up loving. And/Or it lets you try a large quantity of products when you may not have the money to spend on ALL the full size items. This way you can figure out which ones you like and dislike and only spend your money on what actually works for you. I know we all secretly hope to get something we already know we like and just want more of (e.g. Sunday Riley’s Good Genes) or get something we’ve been wanting but don’t want to shell out the money for the full size (e.g. a Nars blush). But that doesn’t mean getting anything short of what you know you want makes the box a fail.
I may not be over-the-moon excited about the haircare in this month’s hint. But I look forward to giving whichever one I receive a try to see if it is another unexpected favorite. I AM over-the-moon excited about the sunscreen hint. Sunscreens are so hit or miss for me and this is such a good way to try a new one out. I’m secretly hoping for Supergoop’s Unseen sunscreen or Shiseido’s Urban Environment sunscreen (one’s I’ve been thinking about trying). But whichever sunscreen I actually get, I am super excited to see how it works.

I love Verb. I have already sampled the ghost oil but really hope that is what I get in my box. It is amazing for color treated hair. I alter mine between blues , purples greens, all the time and this hair oil truly repairs, styles gives shine and keeps color from fading as long as you use a little bit at a time. I have mid back length hair and only use a pea size amount then come it through my hole hair wet. I love it!

I am a long time subscriber to Ipsy which I love and a new subscriber to play… so far I didn’t like last month’s box with the two lip colors and the nasty scented perfume. I hate receiving hair products so this month might also be a bust. I’ll wait to see what else is in this month box, if it’s another disappointment, I’ll cancel this sub just like I did with BB. I always give subs two months to wow me. Next up to try will be boxycharm.

I so agree! I have received several beauty boxes for quite a few years now, and every spring, they overdo it with the sunscreen! Hoping it doesn’t happen this year!

80% of aging is traced to sun exposure – we would all benefit from using sunscreen everyday!

Tell me about… If I only could go back in time! My box is 843, hopefully it’s a variation with a nice face sunscreen!

Not really a fan of getting hair stuff but that’s just a personal preference, plus I have SO many deluxe samples of hair products right now and never really use them much at all.
That said, I hope I get the briogeo at least, sounds pretty nice and I’ve already received the other two from play before…. don’t need repeats

So glad I cancelled last month. I cancelled Sephora, Allure, and Birchbox. I’m keeping my Popsugar and FFF. Anymore these 10.00 boxes just have no Value to me & always the same things. No FOMO here.

They need to stop repeating so much. They have so many brands, items, etc. It’s becoming annoying and it’s making me and others want to cancel. Ugh

Not really interested in the hair care or sunscreen spoiler. This will be a regift box. I wished it also had a comment section on profile or preferences for products to be sent. If they would send samples of previous products you’ve bought before or similar products that would be amazing. I would like more of the pore pudding and their makeup remover.

I’m so torn, I want to cancel because I fell like they just repeat too much. But I’ve had it so long and sometimes I get something I really enjoy so……ugh! I don’t know. I think I’ll give this month another try and go from there. I just hope I don’t get another Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in rose gold! Lol. Building up quite a collection from this sub :/

The IGK is absolutely awful. Got it in another box and it made my extremely long hair just sticky and nasty. But would be stoked to try the Verb Ghost Oil!!!!!

I got a Ghost Oil sample somehow (between subs and sets and gifts with purchase, just can’t keep track), and the quality is good, but I always end up using too much.
My hair is nice the first day, limp the second and then just blah.

Didn’t like the ghost oil I got in a previous box. Tried it twice and in the trash it went. Maybe it will work for you.

I swear that oil made my hair greasy and nasty and I think it smells like lemon pledge. Used it once and gave it away.

I really wish they had an option in the “about me” when filling out our personal info. I don’t want any of these hair products. I signed up for the Makeup and skin care products.
I been thinking about canceling my subscription and so far this month has pretty much set my mind to go ahead an cancel. Not happy.

I wish they asked what products you actually like – like Ipsy does. I signed up a few months ago and cancelled right away when I saw how limited the profile was, then signed up early last month because I was loving the spoilers but I guess they were sold out already so this month will be my first. So far it is not looking promising.

Festival makes me think bronzer, sunscreen? The current Sephora festival favorites kit is mostly sparkle stuff.
Am really hoping for the ghost oil. I was slated to receive it once but tragically my normal post lady went on vacation and her replacement misdelivered the box.

Geez, how many of these products did I already get? I sure hope that they aren’t sending out these are enticing spoilers, cause that means the rest of the box is going to be beyond sub-par!

I have to say that for a $10 box, there is always something great to try. Even if you don’t like everything it is a great way to try new products in a fun way. And if I don’t think an item is my taste, someone else will like it so it makes a nice little treat for a friend. I also have to commend their customer service. In the February box, my mini Sephora lipstick was smooshed when I received it, and I simply emailed Customer Service with my concern and they refunded the full cost of my box. I certainly didn’t expect a full refund, so that was a pleasant surprise.

What the heck I emailed because my lipstick was smushed and they only gave me a $5 credit 😤
