The pictures of the products on their site look really nice. I didn’t see any “tchotkes”. If I were into astrology I could see the value in this box.

Someone said that they ask a lot of questions. I’d be interested in knowing the kinds of questions they ask. Would they be aimed at setting up your horoscope?

Their website says it will ship April 25th! Yay!

I’m curious if it will be all the same things, mugs, cosmetic cases etc. all with the zodiac sign or if there will be more variety

Wow. They are promising a LOT of personalization. Sounds great but can they deliver? Especially in the long run?

I own a sub box. Just ordering the right quantity every month of each item without over or under ordering, is hard. I can’t imagine customizing items. She could lose a lot of money if she over orders or lose sales if she under orders, and that’s individual items. Sounds like a nightmare ordering so I hope she has some sort of plan or a way to get her items quickly after ordering is closed for the month

I doubt it. I expect the first few to be okay but sooner rather than later the quality will probably plummet

I’m not that into astrology but I happen to live on a street whose name is the same as my sign so it is kind of tempting to get some household items with constellations on them…

I hope the code is available until after their first box. I’d want to get a better feel for the box – especially for $40 mo. (or even $36)

Yes, please! I definitely am fascinated to see how they curate this.

Has anyone heard back what the VALUE amount for this box is supposed to be?

I wrote in a week ago but they haven’t responded yet. I’m just wanting to know if there’s ANY kind of idea of what to expect value wise before I buy. Seems like a simple enough question, no?

I’m worried that based on their wording (I’ve checked their whole site and every email I’ve gotten from them daily) that it will be a box of overinflated tchotchkes like whatever birthstone/crystal rock with a RV staying $15.95, a cheap zodiac pendant stating RV $39.95 and so on. I’d be more comfy knowing some kind of idea of # of items/total RV they hope to achieve per box.

How about giving the box a chance before assuming it’s going to be “a box of overinflated tchotchkes”?
As someone who used to run a box in this genre, I can tell you that the customization involved in this type of box is going to be a LOT of work.
There are so many types of items that could be included (especially since they aren’t limiting themselves to “mystical” items only) that I suspect there will be tons of real value in each box.

Why does there need to be a value assigned?

You like it, get. You dont, don’t get it. SMH.

To be fair, it seems like a lot of boxes that don’t state a typical value for their boxes – especially ones that involve a lot of handcrafted items, which at least a few of these seem to be – tend to come in right around the value of the price of the box. It makes taking what they give you feel like a waste, especially if you end up not liking a bunch of what you get. If I’m getting something at the cost of buying it myself, I’d rather just go to the shops and pick something that I know I’ll love.

Erica

I actually think it’s worse to assign a value. Then you end up with items in a box just as fillers to bump up the retail value. I think a lot of boxes over promise on the RV and can’t really maintain it over the long-term without overvaluing.

Virginia

What are tchotchkes?

Knicknacks, dust collectors, dollar tree decor, junk, etc.

Marina

Basically trinkets, likely cheap stuff I think – saw it defined once as “what a burglar wouldn’t steal” haha
So yeah…hoping they have some good things as this box could be a nice one!
