About EasyKicks with Nike February 2018 Review

Nike Star Runner Shoes in Red - Retail Value $48.00

The shoe options are plentiful and Easkicks adds an additional 2 new styles each week, as well as offering seasonal options. Here is a sampling of their current offerings; you can easily filter based on style or size. When getting my first pair for my son, I had 20 different Nikes and 10 Converse to choose from. I chose these red ones and my son loves them! They are easy to put on with the velcro and perform perfectly.

If you are new to this box and don’t know what size to order, don’t worry. During the sign-up process, there is a pdf you can download and print that you use to trace your child’s foot to see exactly what size to get. I already knew what size to get, since my son’s favorite pair of shoes are his well-loved Nikes. They are the shoes he runs and walks in best.

The best part about this subscription is that at any time you can swap out for new shoes, it’s unlimited. Once your new pair of shoes arrives, you send your old pair back in the prepaid envelope.

I love that you can swap out as much as you want or if you really love the shoes, you can keep them for 90 days. Once you have a pair for 90 days you own them, and you can request an additional pair to continue to swap out this new pair.

Additionally, there is another size chart on the return envelope you can use to confirm sizing for your next pair to see if you need to size up!

Here is one of my favorite parts: Nike then donates gently used shoes to foster kids. If the shoes are really beat up then Nike recycles them into playgrounds.  I love this! This company has a goal to keep shoes out of landfills!

According to their website, this new service has already donated over 375 pairs of shoes, recycled over 500 pairs and keeps all these 875+ shoes out of a landfill as a result. This makes me happy to support this company. Additionally, given how quickly my son’s feet are growing, and how well Nike’s last, the shoes we go through usually are in very decent shape and I hate having them sit in the closet once my son has outgrown them. Now those shoes get a second life.

I also received this nice sticker in the box. I estimate the sticker is worth $1 - its high quality and could be used on a skateboard or scooter and hold up to wear.

The Verdict: I loved everything about the EasyKicks With Nike service. I was happy with the selection of shoes and chose these bright red shoes for my son. He LOVES them and insists on wearing them to the park, which is great by me since they are wonderful for his feet.

Retail on these shoes is $48 and I can swap them at any point with free shipping making this a great value. If I want to keep them, then they end up costing $60 (three months of service) which is about $7 dollars more than I would pay for them retail, after tax. So if you intend on keeping every pair and not swapping out, this may not be the service for you. If however, like me, your child’s feet are growing rapidly, you know your child likes new kicks more often, or perhaps your kids are hard on their shoes, then I recommend this service.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! It is a new company that is subscription based, however, not a traditional subscription service, meaning you can join at any time and pick your shoes.

This is the greatest idea ever, I just signed up. But how do they make any money? Is Nike donating all of the shoes to EasyKicks?

I’m so glad you discovered this service. I’m so happy with it! To answer your question, EasyKicks is backed by Nike so it can prove the latest Nike’s to its users.

Thank for explaining at the end more at the end. It is a good price If you could trade each time. My child is hard on shoes and has stinky feet so we would keep every pair

You can absolutely send back stinky, dirty, and completely destroyed Nikes! They recycle them and use them sustainably in playgrounds to prevent them ending up in landfills. I really like this about the company.

The post says it’s okay to send back stinky sneakers. My daughter’s feet get stinky if she happens upon a pair of socks that isn’t made with cotton. Socks are mostly polyester or acrylic these days. They’re hard to find, but I make sure to buy socks made mostly of cotton. Problem solved!

Cotton is wonderful! I also love smart wool.
