Worst box I have ever received! I can’t believe Elle magazine would allow their name to be associated with this. By their own values listed in the pamphlet, it comes right at $130 plus a sample of Clarins lip oil. Their Instagram is getting blown up by unhappy people. They replied to me that the value was over $190 with a $63 years subscription to Elle magazine. This is my first and last Bless box. I will never go against what people say on this site again. Lesson learned!

This is my first Bless Box and I won’t be renewing. I was very disappointed by the products and inflated values. I’m just not seeing $150 here.

Here is what was in my box:

15 ml Sunday Riley Auto Correct (which is incorrect; mine is actually .17 fl oz or 5ml)
1 oz Dove Exfoliating Body Polish (with a $5 value lol)
Maybelline Total Temptation mascara – full size
nuun Hydration Vitamins – 12 servings
REN & Now to Sleep Pillow Spray (10ml)
Youngblood Crushed Blush (.10oz)
Hippeas White Vegan Cheddar Puffs
Hollywood fashion tape
Clarins Lip Comfort oil (.09 oz)
Lifeline Skincare – Refresh Polishing Gelee (.27 fl oz)
Lifeline Skincare – Neck Firming Complex (.34 oz)

I got the exact same box as you did! This is also my first box and I’m not renewing.

So disappointing!

Anna

I received an email offer today that they’ll include the necklace from last months box and free shipping also if you use the code ‘ELLE18K’.
I thought I’d share in case anyone wanted the necklace.

I have issues with this box! The WEN thing really did it with me. Not only that, I don’t see the value and I feel insulted when they want to put an outrageous retail value on a few inspirational cards that should have been an extra. The shipping fee is also too much. But, every month they include a beautiful detailed pamphlet explaining these overpriced items. My suggestion, spend less on this and more on some quality products.

I’m guessing the 29.99 surprise is the 1 year subscription to Elle magazine. I signed up last month got my one box and canceled. I felt their value was way over inflated. One and done for me.

Jenn

I thought that at first too, but they advertised about the year subscription on social media so I hope they wouldn’t consider that a surprise anymore hahah

Nicole

They give you a lot of mass cosmetic brands like Maybelline and the MSRP they list on the flyers in their boxes are way off…the Wen products that we’re in some of their recent boxes, for example, we’re priced well above the actual cost through a number of other retailers. Net/net I won’t be renewing my subscription – Fabfitfun and Popsugar are much better value for your $

They have a code for free shipping on their site. I’m considering signing up but the promised value discrepancies are worrying me.

Anna

They have a code on their site for Free Shipping. ELLE25 and a free year of Elle which is part of why I’m assuming Elle put their name on it.

7.50 for shipping?! I guess Ipsy and Play! Have me spoiled because I think that’s ridiculous.

Agreed, If they dropped the shipping I would probably sign up. I just can’t with that added cost. I’m so used to free shipping! lol

Jenn

I know what you mean! But I always just tell myself it costs $37.50 instead of thinking of it as $30 + $7.50 shipping lol

I I caught that too about the $7.50 shipping. I find that a lot of the Subscription boxes that I have been looking Lately while actual cost of the box is reasonable but then it says plus shipping charges. Appears to be a ever increasing trend that I think will be coming more and more common place

Also the Sunday Riley shows a picture of the 15ml size which retails for $65, yet it says retail value of $24. I wonder if this could be the value promised discrepancy? Unless its only a deluxe sample with the full size pictured. I am also very confused.

Sam

That picture of the full size was why I signed up for this box. I thought the price was a mistake. I used the 35% off for the box so either way I won’t feel cheated. I didn’t read the reviews about the issues people had with this sub until after I had ordered this box. I can’t believe that Elle would allow their name to be on a shady box.

I can understand things might look shady, but I would give them the benefit of the doubt. It could also be that someone was given the wrong photo to send out – but my experience is that they are not shady. A good sign for me is that their customer service is always responsive and from what I can tell they always try to make something right for people – if a product arrives damaged or missing. That for me is a really good sign. By email – it takes them 1-2 business days to respond but their chat is usually live on their site during the week and they have always answered my questions and gotten me the info I needed.

I agree – I think they need to work on the value of the box… if you like everything they send, then it is a good value, even if it falls short of the stated value. I did double check the retail value of the products in my 2 boxes and they came out similar to what was posted by the brands themselves. It just feels like it falls a little short of what you would expect from Sazan. I really do think they will figure it out though.

Tanya

I was eyeing the Sunday Riley myself… but.35%off… still may do it.

Redhed36

I like both so far.

Interesting…previous emails stated a value of over $190 in the box and now it says $150 value plus $29.99 surprise on the newest spoiler?

I’m excited by this box, but it’s feeling sketchy to me.

Sam

I just checked their website and Still says $190 when you sign up. Guess time will tell.
