I’ve been wanting to try the Schmidt’s deodorant, so this is really cool! YAY BirchBox for getting it right again! I love this box. Got ride of Ipsy and Allure. This is the box for me!!

If anyone gets the Davines Love conditioner foil and doesn’t want it, I’d be happy to swap for it! It’s my favorite conditioner, ever! 🙂

Here’s my swap link:

I have so many of the Davines Love shampoo & conditioner, I would be willing to swap with you. I am actually going to be upset if it comes in my box AGAIN this month. 😊

I think I’m done. Not with all boxes, but definitely beauty boxes. I literally have boxes of all of those brands of cosmetics aside from Davine’s, Briogeo, and Schmidt’s. I’ll stick with my Mugler Addict and Sisley Paris. Sisley was worth a fortune this month!!!

Luna

I still haven’t received this month’s Sisley box. 🙁 I think this is the first time it’s been this late.

I haven’t had birchbox in over a year and I’ve tried almost everything here. I look once in a while to see if I want to come back and it never wows me. I don’t mind the sizes, they just need like a ton of new items

I feel the same way. It’s one of the main reasons I cancelled last year. They DO seem to be getting some new products here and there; I seem to recall some Sunday Riley showing up here and there! But they need yet more – especially since this is supposed to be a product DISCOVERY box!

Teresa

The only thing I’m hoping NOT to get is the blow dry cream…I have like 6 of them plus a full size I got from Boxy..

Kristina

So happy I cancelled. Tired of all of the repeats, and small samples.

Gonna roll the dice and not select anything. I’ll probably get the primer in my box, I’m eligible to receive a bunch of these spoilers but I’d really love the deodorant. Crazy as that seems, everything else I’m either not interested in or have already tried.

I’ve never gotten Birchbox and am thinking about signing up. How big are the items usually? Are any full size?

Reply ButtonReply

Bobbie

They are small samples but this is my favorite sub box despite the small samples because so far they have sent me items that I love.

Rachel

This has been my experience too. I cancelled Birchbox a while back because of the tiny sample sizes, but then looking through I realized most of the products I’ve loved enough to buy full size were items I discovered from Birchbox and ended up re-subbing when a good offer came up. I sub mainly to try new products. My skin is really sensitive so I don’t want to spend a lot of money on a full size product only to find out I can’t use it. If you’re looking for a good value on full size products though, it’s probably not the box you want – the samples are very small most of the time.

Amanda

A mix of the kind of samples you can get for free at a department store and some “deluxe” samples. BeautyFix is best for full size products.

I think your best bet for full size is getting the customized box. That is when I receive full size. They are pretty small samples usually, but a lot depends on the brand and/or item. Mascara can last you for a while no matter the brand same with eyeliners. But serums are usually pretty small. Shampoo’s and conditioners depend on brand. Good luck. If you are not sure wait for the perfect coupon to become available and watch the spoilers. And if you are not happy your are only out $10.

Oribe!! I’ve been very happy with my boxes lately. Really love the Winky lip gloss too.

Lauren

I went with the curated box. Because, magically ( somehow) even though I have been with Birchbox for 6 yrs the Eyko skinny liner is the only one of those samples I’ve had. Lol And I like the eyeliner enough to want a 2nd one in my stash. And the other samples are things I’ll use and want to try.

So what are the rest of you choosing?

J

Coola primer.. because spf and summer 😎

Reply ButtonReply

Bobbie

I am going with the Primer. I am hoping they include a Beauty Protector sample in my box because I love that product!

Luna

I was originally going to go with the mascara, but I recently picked up a full size for myself. And I really do like that Oribe mousse (it truly is a volumizing mousse!), but I’ve tried that a couple of times already, so I thought I’d go with the Coola primer since I’ve never tried it, love trying new primers, and I like that it has SPF in it too! I really liked the curated box too, so I ended up purchasing that separately.

I haven’t paid attention to BB spoilers… well, pretty much ever because it’s so random, so I don’t know how their selection process works. What I do know is I enjoy most of the selections they send to me each month. However, I hope that everything I see grouped with my selection for this month is what I will receive.

june

I think all these samples (minus the ones I’ve already tried) look good. I chose Oribe as my sample choice, and the box is beautiful this month, so I think I’ll be happy with any other surprises!

tpop

So many repeats…

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

Why is the last ingredient in the coola primer “flavor?”

Reply ButtonReply

Christine

Maybe so when your SO kisses your cheek it doesn’t taste bad? LOL Remember Jessica Simpson’s line of flavored body products?

Reply ButtonReply

Christine

I always try to stay positive, but with the exception of the Benefit mascara, which is a new product, these all look like repeats to me.

Reply ButtonReply

Tara

You know you’re on product overload and when you think a deodorant is what you would want. Lol I haven’t been with birchbox in a couple of years but that deodorant…

Reply ButtonReply

Amber

This brand of deodorant is $5 at Target. I am currently using Bergamot and Lime, and I have to say, my pits smell delicious. I got a sample of Charcoal & Magnesium from Lucky Vitamin, and I love it. It’s a subtle rose scent, but it’s only available online through Target.

I’d say you’re better off going to Target for the deodorant, but if you’re anything like me, you’d end up spending no less than $50 when you intended to leave with one single stick of deodorant.

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Kroger’s and Albertson’s also carry the deodorant.

Judi

And it’s a bit cheaper if you can find them at TJMaxx/Marshalls!

I can usually find a big selection of regular and trial sizes (including this past winter’s seasonal collection (Snow Day, Christmas Tree, Holiday Spice).

Just note that the consistency is grainy and not smooth.

Tara

Good to know! Thanks!

Robyn

I thought the same thing, not going to subscribe for a chance at some deodorant though 😆

LOL

I chose the Oribe Hair plumper. I hope my box does not contain any lip products and no Schmidt Deodorants. Schmidt deodorant makes my pits break out and itch something fierce. Other than that I would be either content or happy with whatever I get. I think I am going to check my profile and update it to reflect current samples.
