Bianca Jade MizzFit Box #Miz18 for Quarterly Co. Review
A letter from fitness guru Bianca Jade and a product list is written out on these cards.
Next up is a translucent envelope of promotional cards and coupons. The liver detox, the Mira Rae coupon, and the other discounts are listed as items on the product list. The free detox plan is pretty cool, but I don’t necessarily feel like the other coupons add value to the box itself (just because they require me to make another purchase in order to benefit from them). But I certainly appreciate them!
Rifle Paper Co. Travel Journal – Retail Value $15.00
I am such a big fan of Rifle Paper Co. designs! Aren’t the illustrations on this 5″ x 7″ notebook so cute?! I want that spiffy striped bikini in real life!
This journal is perfect for taking along on trips. Each page has blank spaces for location and date, plus tons of room to muse about the wheres and whats of what went down that day. My resolutions for this year included 1) journal more and 2) travel as much as possible, so this journal will come in handy!
MD Complete 3-Day Anti-Aging Booster Pack – Retail Value $19.99
For the longest time, I thought my imbalanced skin was suffering from too much oil. Recently, I learned that any oiliness I experience is more likely my skin overcompensating due to dryness. The potions in each of these easy-to-useΒ packets are delightfully nourishingΒ and left my skin feeling plumper, smoother, and a bit less taught and stressed. I used these at home, but I bet these would be awesome to bring on a trip. No need to pack oodles of skincare products!
Three Single-Serve Dr. Kellyann’s Collagen Shake To-Go Packs in Vanilla Almond, 0.88 oz. each – Buy 3 boxes of 7 for $64.00 hereΒ
Next up, we’ve got some collagen drink mixes! There are three packs in vanilla almond…
Three Single-Serve Dr. Kellyann’s Collagen Shake To-Go Packs in Chocolate Almond, 0.88 oz. each – Buy 3 boxes of 7 for $64.00 hereΒ
…and three packs of chocolate almond! (I think I like the chocolate one better… surprise surprise.) Collagen is great for hair, skin, nails, and even joint health, but here, it’s intended to help with weight loss. I always have trouble with the texture of powdered drinks. I feel like these packets are a little clumpy when mixed with plain milk or water, but in a smoothie, or blended with ice and milk, they’re pretty tasty!
Nutrafol Hair Health Supplements, 120 Capsules – Retail Value $88.00
My hair has always been extremely thick and when I lay off coloring it for long enough, it’s pretty healthy, soft, and vibrant, too. That said, I’ve still been curious about what benefits hair supplements could provide me. This is a convenient encouragement to try ’em out! This supplement is doctor-formulated, which I appreciate. I also think it’s really cool that their approach to hair health is not simply about encouraging growth, but also reducing stress, which helps lessen the stress hormone cortisol that causes hair issues in many women.
Kare Co. 3″ Round Styling Brush – Retail Value $17.50
My hair is finally long enough (after growing it out from a pixie cut… oof!) to need styling, and I’ve been having such good luck when I put this tool to use! This round brush has a hollow interior that helps spread the warm air around. It also features “ionic conditioning technology” that helps condition and calm hair. I’ve been super happy with how beautifully my hair dries using this brush!
Amika: The Wizard Hair Primer, 4 fl. oz. – Retail Value $25.00
Before I start blowdrying, I spritz this “primer” around my hair. I love love LOVE the fragranceβit’s super light and beachy. Whenever I use this spray, my hair always ends up feeling more nourished post blow-dry than it would beΒ going in bare, even when the dryer is on cold. From the look of the bottle to the fragrance, I so desperately want it to be spring! I’m eager to let my nourished hair blow in the breeze rather than sitting under a beanie in the cold!
ThreeΒ Teleties Hair Ties – Estimated Value $7.99
This particular assortment doesn’t seem to exist online, but similar three packs range from $7.99-$14.99. My hair is allllmost to the point where it’s ponytail friendly again. (Hooray!) When it is, I’m excited to use these stretchy hair ties that really do look and feel like telephone cords! They return to their original shape really easily, and going by the baby ponytail I tried, they don’t grab or pull at my hair. I also read that they don’t leave dents in your hair once they come out!
Cocoroons Minis in Brownie, 2 oz. – Retail Price $3.69 (Found here for $2.99)
Ooo, these are so yummy. These balls are each about 1 inch big, so one or two make for a nice sweet-tooth-satisfier. They aren’t nearly as decadent as a brownie. I wanted them to be, but c’mon. That said, they are delicious chocolate balls with a gently crunchy coconut-flake texture to them. They might not be real brownies, but I ate them just as quickly as I would any brownie!
Verdict: I’m really starting to like and look forward to getting this wellness subscription box every quarter! The assortment this time around was really holisticβthere were snacks, beauty items, supplements… basically, items to nourish you inside and out. The quality of each item was great, too. The retail values for some of these products? Way higher than the cost of the entire box!
To Wrap Up:
CanΒ you still get this box if youΒ sign upΒ today?Β No, but order today to get the August box!
Value Breakdown:Β This box cost me $49 + $8.00 shipping. Though I couldn’t find an exact price for some of the items, the rest of the products had a retail value of $169.18! Wow! That’s already almost three times the cost of this box!

What do you think of the Bianca Jade #Miz18 box?
I wish I could have gotten this box! The Nutrafol alone makes it a winner. I have new hair growth and my hair feels great after just 3 months of taking this supplement. I lost a lot of hair a few years back and was very thin on top and so self conscious. I had all kinds of blood work which revealed nothing. I tried so many other supplements and products with no results. I love that it is a natural approach to the problem and def recommend it!
I don’t usually comment on here but wanted to take a moment to respond to some of the comments. Yes, there have been fewer fitness focused items in our boxes because after nearly 20 boxes, we have put just about every piece of fitness equipment imaginable in the box that doesn’t weigh a ton to mail. We even put a large bosu ball in one of our boxes. Also the fitness industry is changing as technology changes. So we cannot put DVD’s and CD’s in our boxes anymore because modern day computers don’t use these anymore. They are dated forms of viewing fitness. I spent 1.5 years experimenting with including digital platform memberships in my boxes. We would include 1 month of fitness classes in our boxes that you could redeem from a promo card included in the box. Problem was that barely anyone was redeeming the memberships. So we decided to stop doing that. Our goal is to include items that resonate with most of my subscribers. We do very well with Fit Skin, Fit Beauty and Fit Health related products. So I have begun to focus on this. One of the people who commented on this thread mentioned that I have transitioned into beauty and skincare, which is accurate. I still cover fitness but I have started focusing more on beauty and body transformation using a combination of fitness/health/dietary/beauty treatments to achieve amazing results. As I have aged, so has my base following. Things shift. Other things become important especially as you become a mother, a grandmother, etc. And this isn’t just about aging but about reaching different phases of your life. Six pack abs begin to matter less and other things begin to matter more. It is something I have experienced in my own life. I continue to work out every day and fitness is still my favorite thing in the world HOWEVER, I have been trying to offer a box that incorporates different sides of active and healthy living. I hope this explains a little. Thank you to all who continue to subscribe to the box. And I appreciate all the comments left here. Kindly, Bianca jade
I get most MizzFit boxes but decided skipped this one, but now that I see it I know I would have been very happy with it even though it has fewer items than most of her boxes. I personally prefer receiving a few high to moderate priced items instead of several moderate to low priced items, but I get that everyone is different. I also like that Bianca puts beauty items in most of her boxes, although I prefer the earlier boxes where she included some sort of fitness item in there too. Hopefully she goes back to that, but judging from her social media pages she’s really trying to make her mark in the beauty influencer area. Great review Anna!
Thanks Sammee! And great observation about Bianca’s leaning towards the beauty space. I think this box did a fine job of fitting a “wellness” category, but I can see where it felt lackluster to people looking for more fitness-specific products. Fingers crossed that she keeps some of the high-quality beauty finds moving forwards, but doesn’t lose that fitness focus that so many people love about her box!
I really liked this box. I follow Bianca on FB and it was made known well ahead of time that the theme of this box and all contents would be related to haircare. So I went in with that expectation and appreciate the curation of products. The spray is fantastic! And the skincare products never disappoint.
The smell of that spray alone is awesome, and the fact that it makes my hair feel so light, soft, and protected isn’t bad, either π Thanks for sharing your experience, Debbie!
I’m shocked Quarterly is still in business! There is literally nothing in this box that fits the original theme of fitness.
Notebook, supplements, three hair items (?????????), and cookies. Where’s the exercise component? A DVD, or an accessory for working out? Am I missing something?
And like Ragan says, the word “detox” is only used by people who have never even cracked a science textbook, and it’s a huge turn-off because they have no idea what it means and how wrong they are.
I wanted to sub, which is why I read the review. Three hair items, the kajillionth notebook, and cookies will not add anything to the changes I’m making in my diet and exercise habits. Can anyone recommend a fitness sub?
Sometimes I think about subscribing to this, but this box would’ve been a big miss for me. Collagen is not vegetarian so I wouldn’t even have been able to use like half the value of the box (plus, as a scientist, the word “detox” immediately sends me running in the other direction). I also don’t blow-dry or style my hair. Ah well, guess I saved myself $50 or $60.
