$20 PUR Minerals Mystery Grab Bag – FULL SPOILERS!

I am extremely happy with my bag. I paid $17 and I received 1 lipstick topper in Rainbow Dash, An eye pencil in the color Hello bright eyes, a quick pro portable 2 pc lipstick and eyeshadow palette, A 4-1 Volume Vixen mascara and a Blending crease brush! Definitely will order another mystery bag when available.

Lol, of course I ordered as soon as I saw the glosses because I’ve been wanting them forever, and I end up with a different box! I got the the Rainbow Dash Gloss, but other than that, I got the Volume Vixen Mascara, a Blending Crease Brush, Hello Bright Eyes Eye Pencil, and the Quick Pro Portables Eye and Lip Palette. Fail. If anyone is swapping glosses, let me know.

I emailed them over the weekend and they just responded. They were apologetic and issued me a full refund. I am happy now.

I called this morning and told them how disappointed I am. They were very nice and apologetic. She issued me a refund.

I just got mine today. So disappointed. Where are the ones being reviewed on YouTube coming from and why didn’t we all get those. They look really good. I tried leaving negative feedback on their website. They deleted it.

I wrote them and explained my disappointment and lack of value. I also said a “mini highlighter” would not be a full size product. They agreed and refunded me fully for $26.95.

I ordered this mystery box and it seemed like a great deal for 20 something for 95.00 worth of product however I was really disappointed with it and also will not order from them again. I expect older product and even some odd ball things but I certainly didn’t expect to get 5 of the same thing just in different colors and I didn’t expect it to be my little pony stuff. I expected adult products and actual make up items. I thinking sticking in 5 of the same thing is really deceptive. I guess that is the risk with mystery bags but getting this one will for sure stop me from ever trying it again.

Soooo glad I passed on this one. Listen, I’m a grown up woman who doesn’t need or want a glitter lip gloss topper! OMG! Really tired of these companies trying to pawn off their old or dead stock on us as “mystery boxes!” BTW, I had a coupon code that took it down to half price but shipping was almost as much as the box at that point so no thanks. Really tired of that crap too.

I feel bad for everyone who doesn’t like this, but I am super excited. I have been trying to get the MLP glosses, but they haven’t been available. As soon as I saw this, I went and grabbed a mystery bag. I have no interest in the highlighter palette, but it’s a great price for the glosses. I fell in love with Pur the first time I went to Generation Beauty, and they continue to be one of my favorite brands. But I do agree that it’s weird to have an entire set of glosses in a mystery bag. They should have let people know.

On a previous PUR mystery bag, I was able to get my money back.

On that bag, the value of the items did not add up to their promised value. When I asked the rep over email to tell me the RV of the items, she quickly answered she didn’t have RVs and that she would refund me (she did!).

In the case of this offering, the PUR website clearly says 6 FULL sized items. A mini isn’t full sized so for those who are unhappy about this box (if I had ordered this I would be disappointed too), you could try to get a refund because the highlighter isn’t what’s advertised. I would advise to get a screenshot of their website in case they change the description or the bag sells out.

I’d have been really annoyed if I bought this for a mystery box for $27 shipped. But now that it’s been revealed, I totally bought it for 17.50 shipped. I love glittery lip glosses because I am a five year old. I think if they’d just sold the lipglosses as a sale collection for $20 including shipping as a special or something, they’d have gotten plenty of bites and wouldn’t have annoyed so many people. I’d probably have bought them at that price, but now I’m paying even less and am getting a highlighter palette to boot. But I do feel really guilty knowing how many people are unhappy with this one.

Isn’t the point of these mystery bags to try out different products you may not normally buy? Why on earth would they send the same product in different colors? A few weeks ago I had a terrible experience with a customer service rep and swore I would not purchase anything from this company unfortunately I got sucked in to the “mystery” part. I WILL NOT purchase from this company again that’s for sure and I LOVE GLITTERY stuff but this is just an insult to everyone who got it.

I received my package of 5 MLP lip glosses and highlighter palette today. Fortunately my 13 year-old liked 3 of the glosses and took those off my hands. I cannot believe they would fill a mystery bag with 5 glitter lip glosses. I tried them on giving them the benefit of the doubt and they are way too glittery for me to pull off. I contacted customer service and the lady that answered who said she was a supervisor told me I can return it and pay shipping and handling myself. I will never buy a Pur mystery bag again without waiting for the spoilers since they seem to have plenty available even today. It makes it worse that I didn’t even get free Mascara or the discount of almost $10 off like some people did. What is the value of this bag by the way? I can’t even find these for sale on their website anymore.

I bet she knew how this comment thread was going to go. I am to say the least disappointed. I was bracing myself to be let down by an item or two, but to get 5 My Little Pony lip glosses is ridiculous. I am still shaking my head 3hrs later. I contacted customer service and I would recommend that everyone else do the same. They need to know how awful this bag was and how upset and turned off so many people are by PUR. As of now I will never purchase another mystery bag from them and likely never purchase another item from them. Seriously is the majority of the age demographic of their store between the ages of 5-10? LOL

For anyone who is interested, the mystery box is still available and the slickmystery code is still working for $9.50 off! If I get the My Little Pony lip gloss, I can gift them. It is had to go wrong with a $10.50 mystery box!

For the record… if the items are older stock, they are not worth $95. I have ordered a mystery bag before from Pur and I would never do that again. How can you claim the value of $95 if what you’re sending is older makeup?

I went ahead and purchased for my 5 year old granddaughter who loves to play with make up and is a big MLP fan…..besides with the code SLICKMYSTERY it was only $18.19 shipped

I am so disappointed. Wish I had waited for spoiler before ordering. Had I known it was going to be just a bunch of lip gloss, I would have passed.

There is a YouTube video from yesterday showing a variation with the trolls pallet and an assortment of items. It was not this one at all.

If it would have been marketed as a My Little Pony mystery bag I wouldn’t have purchased and I’m sure 95% of people wouldn’t have either. This is the dirtiest mystery box I’ve seen in a while. I bought this for a treat for myself because I saw a review on another website for the mystery boxes from January. It had an eyeshadow palette, mascara, eyeliner, a makeup bag. I dont have a lot of extra money right now so I was literally frustrated to tears when I opened it yesterday.

I had gotten a PUR mystery box in the past and I really liked everything. There were a variety of products. Wish I would have waited on this one since I ordered one for me and one to gift to my mom.

I have never bought a mystery box. I thought this would be a safe bet. I’m really disappointed. I wouldn’t have liked it if they included one of these, but five! I have heard so much about PUR cosmetics and really wanted to try them. Shame on you PUR!

Oh no! This was my first mystery box ever. After reading past mystery box reviews, I was excited. I was looking forward to getting some nice make-up. But 5, my little pony glitter lip glosses! I am a grown woman. Come on, PUR…
They certainly found a way to unload their “junk” for a decent profit!
