You’ll receive an info card with directions on how to access a list of the items in this month’s box online. This month’s theme is “Pretty Picnic”. You may notice that the box and booklet are both pretty messed up looking from getting wet in the snow somewhere on its journey, but all of the contents were completely safe! Yay!

Hedgehog Plushie

Eeeeeek!!! How’d they know how much I love hedgies?! This super duper soft hedgehog is anything but prickly and stands seven inches high. It has more of a fur than its real-life spines which are multi-dimensional colors of brown and white. It’s tiny little paws, face, and ears are beige with a white underbelly and brown eyes and nose. This plushie is so round and cute, I love to squeeze it!

Sumikko Gurashi Melamine Cup

Sumikko Gurashi is one of my favorite newish San-X character gangs! Their name means  “Adventures in Cuddly Corners” which is pretty much what I’m all about. 🙂 This melamine cup is quite sturdy and I can’t decide whether I’ll use it for hot or cold drinks. There is no shortage of color or things to look at all around it, and it even has characters inside the cup as well! That wee snail at the bottom is killin’ me!

Sumikko Gurashi Spoon

This is no ordinary spoon, but a melamine one that combines the length of a regular spoon with the depth of a ramen spoon! I’m glad this came because I’ve been meaning to buy a ramen spoon for so long now and this one is incredibly cute. Its yellow and features the socially anxious calico cat, Gattinosh, from the Sumikko Gurashi crew. There is also a cameo by Pastito, who is a shrub of grass with a positive outlook who is close to Gattinosh.

Next, I received this little yellow snack container whose lid is covered in many different Disney characters in Tsum Tsum form. Instead of a plastic baggie, this would be a great way to pack some fruit for, say, a picnic? Since it’s not too big, it also helps with portion control while being super cute.

Disney Tsum Tsum Stitch Squishy

Out of the six possible Tsum Tsum squishes, I’m so glad I received Stitch from Lilo and Stitch! I loved that movie when it came out and definitely watched it to death. With the little chain attached, I can bring this bun-like Stitch with me anywhere so I can squish my anxious feelings away with a familiar face.

Colorful & Cute Dual-Ended Highlighter Thin end of highlighter wide end of highlighter

Colorful & Cute Dual-Ended Highlighter

I happened to get the neon yellow color highlighter out of the other possible orange or pink. The photo isn’t as bright as it is in real life, but I’m sure you’re all familiar with the highlighter yellow color. This one is dual-ended with a thin and wide side so you can highlight or make notes to your heart’s content.

Verdict: Per usual with YumeTwins items, these are pretty hard to find online to purchase. For $35 I got six super usable and/or adorable kawaii items that incorporated the “Pretty Picnic” theme. The hedgehog plush has to be my favorite of the group, followed by the cute cup and spoon! I like that YumeTwins doesn’t go overboard with the number of items and keeps it to fewer high-quality items that I’ll use.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, but you have until February 28th to order the March box (check out the most recent spoilers here).

  1. Adorable but I wouldn’t pay more than $12 for all of this

  2. I love the hedgehog plush!

  3. Careful using that cup as at certain temps eg boiling coffee it releases the chemical. So I’m sticking to cool drinks with this one.

    • Oooh, good call, Tony! Didn’t think of that!

  4. OMG! Seriously adorable!
